I previously gave a review but wanted to share an update on Navi. She had back surgery followed by physical therapy at Prime Pet Rehab. I am happy to say Navi is back to herself happy, healthy, and thriving thanks to Dr. Walsh and his amazing team. She is back to daily walks and running around the beach with all her fur friends! I’m so grateful for Prime Pet Rehab because without them, Navi wouldn’t be where she is today. They took excellent care of her at every appointment. I highly recommend them. If you are on the fence about taking your fur baby to physical therapy, it’s worth it. The team will create a specialized plan for your pet and may include laser treatments, hydrotherapy, and mobility exercises just to name a few. I have no regrets and neither will you. Thank you, Dr. Walsh and team! Navi loves you all and so do I 😊

The environment at PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy is likely designed to support the specific needs of rehabilitating animals. This may include specialized equipment such as underwater treadmills for hydrotherapy, laser therapy units, and ample space for mobility exercises. The atmosphere would aim to be encouraging and supportive, fostering a positive environment for pets undergoing therapy. Comfort and safety are paramount, with considerations for different sizes and breeds of animals. The presence of trained professionals and a calm setting can contribute significantly to a pet's progress and comfort during their rehabilitation sessions.

The core services offered by PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy revolve around physical rehabilitation for pets. Based on customer reviews, these services include the creation of specialized treatment plans tailored to each pet's individual needs. These plans may incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities. Laser treatments, a non-invasive therapy using light to reduce pain and inflammation and promote healing, are likely offered. Hydrotherapy, which involves using water for therapeutic exercise, is another potential service, often utilizing underwater treadmills to support movement while reducing stress on joints. Mobility exercises, guided by trained therapists, are crucial for regaining strength, flexibility, and range of motion.

Beyond these specific examples, pet rehabilitation can also encompass manual therapies such as massage and joint mobilization, therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength and balance, and the use of assistive devices if needed. The goal is to restore function, alleviate pain, and improve the pet's ability to perform daily activities. Rehabilitation therapy can be beneficial for pets recovering from orthopedic surgeries (like torn CCL repair or back surgery), neurological conditions, arthritis, injuries, and for general conditioning and strengthening.

A significant feature of PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy, highlighted in the reviews, is the personalized and attentive care provided by Dr. Walsh and his team, including Dr. Tom and other dedicated staff members like Farrah, LeeAnn, Kaitlyn, and Kelsey. The positive outcomes reported by pet owners, such as Navi's successful recovery after back surgery and Bam Bam's healing from a torn CCL without surgery, underscore the effectiveness of their rehabilitation programs. The detailed and encouraging communication with pet owners, as well as the genuine care shown towards the animals, are also noteworthy features.

The success stories shared by customers emphasize the potential benefits of pet rehabilitation therapy, even in cases where surgery might seem like the only option. Dr. Lemme, a referring veterinarian, recognized the value of PrimePet's laser and exercise therapy as a viable alternative or a necessary component of post-surgical recovery. The fact that Bam Bam was able to avoid surgery and regain full mobility through therapy alone speaks volumes about the expertise and effectiveness of the team at PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy.

The welcoming and supportive atmosphere is another key feature. Customers mention being greeted warmly upon arrival and note the positive impact the therapy had on their pets' overall well-being, even helping a shy pet "come out of his shell." The pets themselves reportedly look forward to their visits, indicating a comfortable and positive experience at the clinic.

Promotional information for PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy is not explicitly available in the provided text. In mid August, Bam Bam started hobbling around and could not bear weight on his left hind leg. We had no idea what had happened, but all of the sudden be was hoping around on 3 legs. We waited a couple of days, and when he showed no sign of improvement we made an appointment with our veterinarian Dr. Lemme. He took X-rays and told us that Bam Bam had a torn CCL, they gave him pain meds, as well as an anti inflammatory medicine. They told us they did not do the surgery that Bam Bam would require, so they gave us the names and numbers of two different vets that may be able to help us with this. We did not want to put Bam Bam through an expensive scary surgery, that we were not certain would even work for him. I told Dr. Lemme my apprehension about the surgery, and then he handed me a pamphlet from PrimePet Rehabilitation Therapy. He told me about Dr. Tom, and how he had helped many pets with laser and exercise therapy. He said that therapy was certainly an option, that may even be able to prevent Bam Bam from having surgery at all. We contacted PrimePet Rehab, and made an appointment to meet with Dr. Tom for a consultation on September 4, 2024. After meeting with Dr. Tom we decided to give therapy a try before putting Bam Bam through surgery, we were told that he would probably require therapy to recover from the surgery anyway. Bam Bam started working with Dr. Tom and all of the wonderful ladies at PrimePet on September 9, 2024 twice a week at first, and recently weekly visits. During this time, we ordered a pet stroller so he could still enjoy his walks and not be left out of his exercise with our other kiddos. This Thursday January 16, 2025 is the last scheduled therapy session for Bam Bam, he is back to bearing weight on his hind leg, walking normally, running around playing with his brother and sister; and taking his daily walks again on his own, without his stroller. Thank you Dr. Tom, Farrah, LeeAnn, Kaitlyn, Kelsey…Everyone at PrimePet Rehab.. You are all amazing, you greet us when we walk in the door, and you have not only helped our little man walk again; you have also helped him come out of his shell. He looks forward to his visits with you, and begs to go to work with me because he knows where we go after work… to therapy!

I can't give enough praise to everyone from PrimePet rehab. Bailey's hip dysplasia and arthritis have taken a toll on her younger age. She improved 100% in very short time. Plus, she loves going to rehab and seeing everyone loving on her.

On March 30, 2024 my husband and I noticed our lab began having issues standing or walking, by April 1, 2024 she was completely paralyzed from her hips back. We took her to a local ER Vet clinic and was delivered the news that she had suffered a spinal injury and the best outcome would be to put her down. She was only 6 years old and we just couldn’t wrap our minds around ending her life. As we have been trained to do these days, I immediately began to Google what our alternatives were and stumbled upon Prime Pet. When I say they are ANGELS ON EARTH, I mean it!! Leanne spent at least 10-15 minutes on the phone with me answering questions and guiding me on simple things I could be doing at home to help Moon, then Dr. Tom met with us in person on April 3rd and was open and honest at what he thought we were up against, he didn’t blow smoke at us, he was simply genuine and you could tell he truly is passionate about helping our fur babies. I will be honest, while we wanted to be cautiously optimistic, our hearts were hurting and we really didn’t think we would be here where we are today. Fast forward to June 30, 2024… our girl is walking!!! Through a lot of hard work, prayers and more tears than I want to admit, Dr. Tom and his team have worked methodically and diligently to rehabilitate Moon and get her to where she is. The entire staff treat you like family and work on the all around health of your fur baby. I HIGHLY recommend Prime Pet and cannot thank, or praise, Dr. Tom, Leanne, Bre, Farrah, and many interns enough!! Their compassion, kindness, commitment and genuine concern for our Moon is forever engraved into our hearts and we will be forever grateful and thankful for them!

Our Luna girl had been going to the vet for a few months and we couldn’t figure out what exactly were her orthopedic issues. We knew she was in pain. Our friend recommended Dr.Tom and we couldn’t be more happy with her progression. She’s more active, pain free and happy! I would highly recommend Dr. Tom and his team! They really are the best.
