My Mom and Brother have used this vet for years. Unfortunately My Mom's cat BC was in bad shape at 14 years old. The Vet was very caring to my mom who has Alzheimer's and was able to communicate to her the dire circumstances her cat was in . BC was also diabetic. Thanks to the vets experience, for years he lived with no sugar related problems!

This was my post from about a year ago-- and their reply. Yesterday I got a bill for this appt. For my deceased dog. After 20 years here. I made an appointment yesterday for my dog who has been limping since Sunday. . And, today dog is no longer limping. Called to cancel. 59$ late cancel fee. Must cancel within 24 hours. I made the appointment less than 24 hours ago. I have spent enough money there to put those fancy solar panels on the roof. I'm now done with this practice. Not because of the care but the ridiculous policy. It isn't as if I'm a new client , or I didn't spend over $1000 this past month alone there. 1 Powell Veterinary Clinic,LLC (Owner) a year ago I'm sorry you had this experience Chris. This policy was put in place due to an excessive number of no show appointments. Many clinics have experienced this and implemented this policy since Covid increased demand and staffing is stretched thin. We strive to get our patients in as quickly as possible. When clients fail to show up for an appointment slot we could have used to help other animals, it makes it hard for us to see everyone who needs care. It is not our intention to upset you, we are just trying to encourage clients to respect the time we set aside to care for their pets. We certainly can speak with you further about the circumstances of your timeline, as the 24 hr rule may not be realistic in your case.

My geriatric cat properly named Geras for the Greek God of the elderly developed glaucoma in his right eye. I knew of Powell Veterinary Clinic through a friend so I reached out for some advice. Dr. Sherer took her own time to do some research on his current and previous treatments. Dr. Sherer's commitment to her profession is amazing !!! Geras's eye pressure is back to normal !!! The entire staff was very accommodating and the clinic is very clean. Highly recommend !!!

Terrible with paperwork. All about the money. But they did send me a $10 off birthday coupon for my dogs birthday… the dog THEY did the “end of life” service for two years ago…. Thanks for the reminder PVC. This clinic is overpriced. Go to Best Friends where the care is excellent and prices are much more reasonable.

Terrible vet. They messed up Billing and sent us a 4 month old invoice that they created. Unfortunately, we paid it even though it was there mistake. I will be reporting them to the BBB
