Worst place ever . This place lies.We were never told that we had to have payment in full before we could take him home . They are holding my dog hostage from us . Save your money and go somewhere else .My dog's name is Bennie. He was hit by a car last week and the driver took off. We have spent every dollar we had to care for Bennie. We were refered to take him to Planned Pethood for an emergency surgery to put a plate in his back right femur. We were told to pay $300 on the day of his surgery and they would tear up the relinquish our rights paper. So we did bring them the $300 on the day of surgery. However nothing was said to us about us having to have the remaining balance of $2,000 paid before he can come home. We would have never taken him here if we would have known that. They're holding my baby from me, it's not right and it's not fair let him go. Let my baby come home. We have the cost down to 1300 which we still don't have yet. And they still refuse to let him come home. Until the $1,300 is paid in full. This is not right this was not told to us at the time we brought him into you or we would have taken him elsewhere ,where somebody could take payments. Please let my baby come home let Bennie go. And since then we have not been able to see him after his surgery or anytime since the time we dropped him off which has been over a week not right to do to our fur baby. He has feelings too and he misses us. Very cruel of you guys. Let Bennie come home!!! Please help the fight to bring Bennie home.....Release Bennie Please ❤.We are 💔w/out Bennie......Let Bennie go!!!!!Go Fund me is Please bring Bennie home after his injury. Please donate to help me come up with the $1,300

Oct 01, 2024 · Crystal CarrizalesI highly recommend Dr. Jeff at Planned Pethood in Conifer, Colorado. He has 36 years of experience and does all of the surgeries there. If he can't save your cat or dog, no one can. My cat Charlotte went in for emergency surgery to have a mass in her abdomen removed. They called me on a Saturday morning and could get her in same day. Not only did he find multiple more tumors, but my cat sadly didn't make it through surgery. He not only personally kept me up to date, but he apologized profusely for not being able to save my cat. Then he only charged me $200 total for the surgery. The original cost for her surgery was only going to be $2,100 including all hospitalization no matter how long she was there and all medications and supplies. The CT scan alone was going to be $2,300 to $3,200 at a clinic in Colorado Springs. The staff are very kind and compassionate and handled her cremation for me. They even allowed us as much time as we needed with my cat to say our goodbyes. They also said they were sorry many times and again when I picked up her ashes. It is well worth the hour and a half drive from Colorado Springs. Thirty minutes from Denver. I will definitely take any of my pets back up there if needed.
Mar 05, 2025 · THE GOLDEN THOMPSONThey are the best. My Shih Tzu jumped off the bed and tore both ACL's and both meniscus in both knees. Took her to a local emergency vet and they quoted me $5000.00 a knee. Called Planned Pethood International they got her in the next day. They did the surgery that day and I picked her up the following day. The cost was very reasonable at $1200.00 for one knee. When this one is 100% we will do the next knee in about 4 months. We are 5 weeks out and she is walking a little now.
Dec 19, 2024 · Melodye JensenI was introduced to this team by a friend for our Japanese Chin who was at the end of her time. They were the BEST. They are now helping our sweet frenchie, Lola Cabana, with an injury. They truly are amazing and supportive through tough times with our fur babies. I highly recommend them and am grateful for all they do!
Jan 09, 2025 · Diane AkersIf I could give 0 stars I would. I scheduled a spay for my little Chorkie, Roxy back in November of 2024. The appt was scheduled for January 3, 2025. Roxy went into heat in Mid December so I called on December 15th to ask what to do if she was still in heat by her appointment time. Unfortunately, no one ever answers the phone so I left a message.. no call back, I called back 2 more times and again left messages with no return phone call to answer my question. I then made a final call on January 2nd, the day before her scheduled appt to ask what instructions, if any, are required prior to her appointment and again no return phone call. At this point, I did not want to take my baby to people who obviously do not care about animals or their well being. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism in a veterinary setting. A simple return phone call for information is all that I was asking for. I think I dodged a bullet this time. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. The lack of response speaks volumes in regards to their level of care.
