Pico Rivera Animal Hospital

I've been bringing my dog to Pico Rivera Animal Hospital for a little over 3 years which was when i adopted my really sick pup, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care and attention they've provided. From routine checkups to more serious health concerns, they've always gone above and beyond to ensure my dog is happy and healthy. My fur baby is also a very anxious dog and she always feels super happy and comfortable here. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I trust them completely and highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and awesome veterinary care!

I’ve been bringing my dobie here since he was a baby (he even got his ears cropped here!), and their level of service and care is top notch! He just got his check up and a vaccine updated yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased with the visit. Dr. James Coghlan was absolutely amazing and probably one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and engaging veterinarians I’ve ever met, and eased many of my worries concerning my dobie’s health, diet, and more! He and the entire staff are an absolute delight! PRAH has been my go-to for years and will continue to be, every visit is smooth from start to finish and their communication, attention to care, and professionalism is outstanding!

I had called this place about my dog having cluster seizures and for us this was bizarre as he had never had this issue prior which was why I was in a panic to scramble and find a place that could accommodate him immediately, after a quick call I found this place and gave them a call and the lady on the phone was really friendly and nice but she turned me away saying they only took in appointments... Would you believe the shock on my face when she said that as I'm looking at my dog having seizures !? You turned away an emergency though the website also states that you accompany them. They turned my dog away and I had to drive 20 minutes elsewhere with my small family member having seizures every 2 minutes back to back for 20 minutes .... Unbelievable. And for the site to state you people take walk ins and emergencies .

We have been coming to Pico Rivera Animal Hospital for the past four or five years they treat our beloved Goldie and also the respect from the staff. Today it was a sad day we to put down our beloved Goldie it was hard for us but we didn't want our dog Goldie to suffer any pain. She been wirh us for 15 years what amazing dog. The staff were amazing and give us emotional support and knowing the pain we going through.
