We are so grateful that Petsound was recommended to us. After feeling overwhelmed by other veterinarians' recommendations for costly referrals and their inability to assess in-house, meeting Dr. Stewart and her team was a breath of fresh air. She was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough, providing the necessary exams and testing in-house. This not only made the process more cost-effective but also significantly reduced stress for our beloved pup. For the first time in a while, we felt hopeful. Dr. Stewart and her team put patient care first, offering reasonable and transparent pricing without compromising quality. We are so thankful!

Feb 28, 2025 · Erin McCullenThe veterinary staff took their time with my incredibly anxious dog and didn't need to do a sedated appointment like my former vet's office insisted on. They made her comfortable and were able to get everything accomplished at her appointment! So grateful for the Petsound team.
Feb 24, 2025 · Marelle CacciabaudoThe amazing staff takes great care of Luna. A+++ Edit: Dr Stewart... Thank you very much. Lu has been active since coming back from visiting you today. She said she feels 10 again! We just went for a walk and she did not stop to lay down a single time where she would normally stop for a rest 3 or 4 times. We sincerely appreciate you!
Dec 19, 2024 · Edward StantonI hate to have to do this, but I am just fed up with PetSound. The techs are so nice and they work so hard but the place just seems really disorganized. I have been trying for a week to get a call back to no avail on my elderly cat's problems and she keeps getting worse while my request goes unanswered. Dr. Monce is amazing, super smart and attuned to the animals but I feel like he's spread too thin. Dr. Stewart misdiagnosed my cat's eye problem and it led to her going mostly blind in one eye, so I no longer trust her. I realize that there is a huge shortage of veterinarians, that all of the clinics are overworked and understaffed, and that it's a huge challenge. That's why I patiently waited for a week for a callback. My patience has run out and I am leaving for my previous practice.
Apr 23, 2025 · L WBuckle up as this will be a novel! For those who don’t like to read, this is the best place we have found in NC with phenomenal vets who care about your pets. Don’t be dissuaded by the negative reviews. Having moved from Texas 4 years ago, we were in search of a vet who could provide excellent care to our hoard of babies. Our vet in Texas had set the bar high. If you read the story of the Goldilocks and the Three Bears, that sums up our experience with NC vets. From Vets in Pinehurst, Whispering Pines, to Sanford we tried a few. They weren’t all bad per se, but the quality of care was lacking. We felt more like a pay check and a number. (Could never fit us in for emergencies, hardly saw vets just their techs, very minimal conversations to explain things as a few examples). And these were the places with the BEST reviews! We were defeated as none of them met the same care standards as our vet in Texas. After spending thousands (literal thousands) we were told after an emergency vet visit in Cary one of our dogs needed a specialist. Enter Dr. Monce. Dr. Monce was able to knowledgeably diagnose, treat, and kindly explain everything to us. The care we received in that first visit was what we had be looking for. We decided we would continue to seek treatment at PSAH for the next few months before switching our other 6+ animals. Since that time, we have now switched all of our animals to PSAH care. It’s been over a year now and between Dr. Monce, Dr. Stuart, and Dr. Hockenberry we have received nothing but the best care. We have taken our animals in for everything from an ACL replacement, liver failure, found kitten with the plague (not really but worms galore), red itchy eyes, to just annual check ups. They and their staff have never let us down. We trust them completely. From the moment you walk in the front desk staff is great. If you have a late appointment they will call if there is an opening for an earlier one. They always try to fit us in for those more concerning items. I never feel overcharged, and with the amount of animals we have we spend our fair share (and are more than willing to pay for what is needed). We can’t say enough about those individuals at every level that work at PSAH. They are a dream come true for us. If you have made it this far I think you get the point, just take your animals here you won’t regret it! To the PSAH staff thank you, thank you, thank you. One for dealing with us and our Merry Band of Bumpasses, and two for everything you do. We see it, and appreciate it more than you know. See you soon 😂
