Mar 04, 2025 · Keesha CrosbyOverall experience was GREAT! I bought my cat Mitsuri in for an exam since she injured herself, the vet and techs were very informative about medications. When they were checking for fractures, they explained what they were doing and was told upfront the cost of the visit.
Feb 27, 2025 · Nae Howard**Google Review for PetSmart Veterinary Services** ⭐☆☆☆☆ I recently had a disappointing experience at PetSmart Veterinary Services. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was rude and seemed distracted, which did not set a good tone for the visit. None of the staff, including the veterinarian, introduced themselves, leaving me to guess their names from a text message I received. When I asked the vet, who I believe was Dr. Surinema, for his name, he mumbled it, and his demeanor was unengaging and flat. He seemed solely focused on diagnosing the issues with my dogs, which is important, but he failed to suggest any treatments or provide prescriptions after diagnosing one of my dogs with a double ear infection. Worst of all, no post-visit summary....no written recommendations, nothing. Just the receipt. The lack of communication and care made the whole experience feel surreal and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location.
Mar 02, 2025 · Al BIf you have a senior pet or one with specific health problems, I would advise going to another location. It has taken me a while to actually review this place. The reason, I have regrets. I chose the location out of convenience. I didn’t question the habitual practice of leaving my pet at the vet and them taking him to the back doing who knows what. At first things seemed fine, but later… I’ll give you this heads up - don’t leave your pet unattended with them. Don’t let them take your pet in the back where you can’t see what’s happening. If they make a mistake, they won’t own up to it. They’ll probably act a bit sus and make claims about your pet being sick or old. Question everything. Doctors and vets should be able to explain everything. Those explanations need to be rooted in sound observations - thorough exams, blood work, etc. Guessing based off of age and likelihood isn’t enough. Pets can’t speak and tell you their problems. Some educated guessing can be allowed but not without a physical. Glancing and assuming it’s arthritis or something due to age and likelihood isn’t acceptable. Check paperwork thoroughly. Someone should explain everything on the receipt. Why this test was given, etc. Bottom line, to avoid a heart wrenching experience like me - ask questions, get a second opinion, and never ever let them take your pet in the back without supervision. Everything seemed good until it wasn’t. Months later and I’m still reeling. 😢
Feb 14, 2025 · Keke LealWe brought our dog Blanca here after having a crisis and being diagnosed with Addisons Disease. I am 100 percent sure our dog would have died without the care she received from the team at Petsmart. Each time we have returned it’s been pleasant and quick.
