Our amazing experience with Dr Sharon Staples / Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture, began almost two years ago in February of 2023. Our 11 1/2 year old German Shepherd, Sligo, was experiencing severe pain in his right hip. He was unable to get up without our help. We took him to the vet where xrays of the hip looked normal. We treated him with pain meds and he was still unable to get up on his own and just seemed to be failing. Having experienced acupuncture treatments myself, I thought maybe Sligo would experience some relief with that type of treatment. After some research we found Dr Sharon! Sharon came to our house and did a thorough exam of Sligo before beginning his acupuncture treatment. Sligo was completely at ease, having no idea he was "at the vet"! The needles didn't bother him at all because he loved Sharon and her "magic treats"! Sharon left after about a 2 hour visit. Sligo was up and walking around within a 1/2 hour of her leaving. It was so wonderful to see him feeling some relief from that pain! Since that first treatment, we have continued having Dr Sharon treat both Sligo and his littermate, Darby, once a month. Our pups are now 13 1/2 years old and it is so nice to know that their health can be supported through acupuncture rather than strictly pain meds, etc. And, all in our home alleviating the stressful visits to the vet's office! We highly recommend Pets in Motion and Dr Sharon. She is an experienced veterinarian, professional, extremely knowledgeable, caring, passionate about her work, and all around great human and truly loves working with animals. She will strive to find ways to support your pet's health and overall well being. Do yourself and your pet(s) a favor and have Dr Sharon Staples make a visit to your house!

Welcome to Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture

For pet owners in Bengaluru seeking a unique and convenient approach to veterinary care, particularly within the realm of a 'Pet Hospital' that prioritizes comfort and holistic treatments, we want to introduce you to the concept of mobile veterinary acupuncture. While the provided information pertains to Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture, a service based in Loveland, Colorado, USA, the principles and overwhelmingly positive experiences associated with their care offer a valuable model for understanding the potential benefits of similar services right here in our Bengaluru community.

Imagine a 'Pet Hospital' experience where the primary aspect of care comes directly to your doorstep. This is the core of a mobile veterinary service. Instead of the often anxiety-inducing journey to a clinic, your beloved pet receives specialized treatment in the familiar and secure surroundings of your own home. Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture, under the guidance of Dr. Sharon Staples, perfectly exemplifies this model, specializing in the therapeutic art of acupuncture for animals. Although their direct services are geographically distant, the heartfelt testimonials from their clients vividly illustrate the profound advantages of such a service, benefits that could be incredibly valuable for pet owners and their furry, scaled, or feathered companions here in Bengaluru.

Based on the experiences shared by Pets in Motion's clientele, the treatment environment is a significant advantage. One pet owner recounts, "Sligo was completely at ease, having no idea he was 'at the vet'!" This highlights a fundamental feature of mobile veterinary care: the substantial reduction, if not complete elimination, of the stress and anxiety that many animals associate with traditional veterinary clinics. Your pet remains in their safe haven, making the examination and treatment process considerably more relaxed and cooperative. This is particularly beneficial for pets that are elderly, have mobility issues, are naturally timid, or have had negative experiences with clinic visits in the past.

The primary service offered by Pets in Motion is acupuncture. This ancient practice involves the strategic insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms. The glowing reviews indicate the effectiveness of this treatment as administered by Dr. Staples. One particularly impactful account describes how Sligo, an 11 1/2-year-old German Shepherd suffering from severe hip pain that prevented him from standing independently, was "up and walking around within a 1/2 hour of her leaving" after his initial acupuncture session. This remarkable outcome underscores the potential of acupuncture to provide significant pain relief and improve mobility in animals facing musculoskeletal issues.

Furthermore, the ongoing monthly treatments received by both Sligo and his littermate Darby demonstrate the long-term value of acupuncture in managing chronic conditions and promoting overall well-being in senior pets. Their owner notes that their health is being supported "through acupuncture rather than strictly pain meds, etc." This suggests that acupuncture can be an integral part of a holistic veterinary care plan, potentially minimizing the need for pharmaceutical interventions in certain cases and focusing on the body's innate ability to heal and maintain balance.

A recurring theme in the testimonials is the exceptional quality of care provided by Dr. Sharon Staples. Clients consistently describe her as "experienced," "professional," "extremely knowledgeable," "caring," and deeply "passionate about her work." The fact that she conducts a thorough examination before commencing treatment and takes the time to build rapport with the animals, even using "magic treats" to ensure their comfort, speaks volumes about her dedication and approach. This level of personalized attention, delivered with the convenience of a house call, is a significant differentiator and a major benefit of a mobile service like Pets in Motion.

The tangible improvements in the pets treated by Dr. Staples further underscore the value of mobile acupuncture. Bella, another beneficiary of her care, experienced "amazing" benefits, including improved mobility, reduced limping, and a renewed enjoyment of walks and outdoor time with her family. Her owner specifically appreciated the fact that receiving acupuncture at home allowed Bella to remain "calm and relaxed" throughout the treatment. These real-world examples highlight the potential of mobile acupuncture to significantly enhance the quality of life for pets by addressing pain, improving physical function, and promoting a sense of calm and well-being, all within the comforting confines of their own home.

Considering the 'Pet Hospital' category within Bengaluru, the model presented by Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture offers a compelling vision for a specialized service that could be immensely beneficial to our local pet community. While traditional pet hospitals offer a broad spectrum of medical and surgical services within a clinic setting, a mobile acupuncture service could perfectly complement these offerings by providing a convenient, stress-free, and holistic treatment option in the pet's familiar environment. This would be particularly appealing to pet owners who face challenges in transporting their animals due to size, age, temperament, or simply logistical constraints, as well as for pets who experience marked anxiety when visiting a clinic.

To introduce such a service to local users in Bengaluru, one could emphasize the following features and benefits. Firstly, the unparalleled convenience of receiving expert veterinary acupuncture in the comfort and familiarity of your own home, eliminating the stress of travel for both pet and owner. Secondly, the focus on providing a calm and relaxed environment for the pet during treatment, which can be particularly beneficial for anxious or sensitive animals. Thirdly, the potential of acupuncture, administered by a skilled and compassionate veterinary professional (mirroring the qualities attributed to Dr. Staples), to address a range of conditions, including pain management (such as arthritis and hip dysplasia), mobility issues, and potentially other health concerns as part of a comprehensive care plan.

In terms of promotional information for a similar mobile veterinary acupuncture service in Bengaluru, one could highlight an introductory offer for a first consultation and treatment session. Packages of multiple sessions at a discounted rate could also be attractive for ongoing care. Testimonials from local pet owners who have experienced the benefits of mobile acupuncture (if such services exist or are established) would be powerful. Information about the specific conditions that can be addressed with acupuncture in pets, perhaps through informative online content or brochures, would also be valuable. Emphasizing the qualifications and experience of the veterinary acupuncturist would further build trust and confidence in the service.

In conclusion, while Pets in Motion Mobile Acupuncture directly serves the Loveland, Colorado area, the overwhelmingly positive experiences of their clients and the nature of their mobile, acupuncture-focused practice provide a clear illustration of the significant benefits such a service model can offer. For pet owners in Bengaluru, understanding this model can illuminate the potential for similar specialized veterinary care options within our local 'Pet Hospital' landscape. The emphasis on in-home convenience, a stress-free environment for pets, personalized and compassionate care, and the therapeutic potential of acupuncture, as evidenced by the experiences of Pets in Motion's clients, strongly suggests the value that a comparable mobile veterinary acupuncture service could bring to our community, offering a unique and holistic approach to supporting the health and well-being of our beloved animal companions right here in Bengaluru.

The benefits that acupuncture treatments have given Bella are amazing. She is moving better, limping less, going on walks and enjoys spending time on the deck with our family. Dr. Staples is compassionate and knowledgeable. Providing acupuncture in our home allows Bella to remain calm and relaxed during treatments. Pets in Motion has made a huge difference in our lives.

Dr. Sharon is incredible! I was concerned that my elderly dog, Sebastian, was developing hip issues, but she quickly assessed him and discovered the problem was actually in his mid-spine, not his hips. She is extremely trustworthy and honest—despite offering amazing treats, she recognized that Sebastian was too nervous for acupuncture and only treated him twice before recommending a different approach. Her simple yet effective advice to massage his mid-back has significantly alleviated his discomfort. I’m truly grateful for her expertise, and while acupuncture wasn’t the right fit for Sebastian, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Sharon to anyone seeking compassionate and knowledgeable care for their animal.

I first met Dr. Staples when she came to our home to help my French Bulldog, Tux, who was having a mild IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) flare up. Acupuncture helped to relieve his pain and get him back to his normal self. We are currently set up on a maintenance plan and he is doing wonderful! When another one of our Frenchies, Nori, suddenly became very painful, completely lost use of her hind legs and became incontinent, I immediately reached out to Dr. Staples. I was looking for an option besides an MRI and possibly surgery or euthanasia. Dr. Staples came over and put together a conservative treatment plan that included acupuncture and strict kennel rest. Dr. Staples answered every question I had and made things as stress free for both Nori and myself as possible. Nori loves when Dr Staples comes to visit and Tux gets jealous, so Dr. Staples has to say hi to him, too! Nori’s progress throughout her healing journey has been measured in baby steps, but they have all been baby steps forward. I am very happy to report that Nori is well on her way to being able to walk again! Thank you, Dr. Staples, for all of your help with our fur kids. We are so thankful we found you!

Acupuncture has worked wonders for my 11-year-old dog’s back and shoulder pain. After just a couple sessions, she was able to take long walks again and wanting to play! Her quality of life has improved so much I plan to continue acupuncture for the rest of her days. Dr Staples is an incredibly knowledgeable and kind vet. My dog absolutely loves her and greets her like family when she arrives. I really appreciate that she comes to our home. It's much more relaxing for my dog and convenient!
