PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic of Edgewater

My husband and I took our cat Turkarate who was having some bladder issues. Everyone was so friendly and caring. They listened and gave excellent advice and care. We thought it would be very expensive as it is an emergency vet but it wasn’t much different than his regular vet visit. No one wants to have to go to the emergency vet but if you have to go I would recommend here.

Amazing practice! Wonderful experience! We were recommended to visit PetMedic Urgent Care by our local veterinarian after our puppy was having some health issues on a weekend. It was our first emergency pet visit and we are so grateful we found Dr. D and this practice! Everyone was so warm and caring and receptive. The space is very clean, comfortable and professional and we were seen and attended to right away. Nick and Dr. D and all the staff were so kind and loving with our puppy and very clear and knowledgeable about the course of treatment. Dr. D also took the time to answer questions and provide some helpful advice for my daughter who is a very young aspiring veterinarian. Dr. D also promptly followed up with several things we discussed during our visit. As a new pet owner I am so grateful for the kind attention and effort Dr. D and all the staff paid us, and I’m happy to report our pup is doing much better after the visit. Highly recommend this practice!!

Brought Mittens to Pet Medic Edgewater yesterday because I suspected she had an ear infection. The doctor and staff were very gentle and loving with my shy kitty, cleaning her ears and eyes and administering meds (of course the burrito helped too). Upon coming home, she already seems calmer and happier. Thank you Pet Medic for a great experience!

I brought my cat here a week or so ago because she was constipated, vomiting and not eating her dry food. I made an appointment for the next morning and I was taken in as soon as I got there. Dr Delmotte checked her, took X-rays and gave her IV fluids. She was so kind and explained everything thoroughly and what to expect. Sadie came home after fluids and meds and she doing great. I appreciate the care they give and I highly recommend this much needed clinic!

I can't express enough how grateful I am to have found PetMedic in Edgewater! I had a semi-urgent situation that my regular vet couldn't accommodate, and they recommended this clinic. After my first visit, I left with a true understanding of the level of care that is possible. I returned just four days later for a follow-up appointment and was just as impressed as the first time. As a foster cat parent, urgent and emergency visits are nothing new to me, but I can confidently say I will never go to another urgent care clinic again. The facility is spotless, the staff is not only kind but genuinely helpful, and the whole atmosphere is warm and inviting. Dr. Brechbiel and Dr. Delmotte are nothing short of outstanding. Their kindness, thoroughness, and willingness to listen to all my concerns are truly rare. They took the time to address all my concerns, answered every question I had (and I know I always have too many!), and made sure my cats were as comfortable as possible. Their knowledge and evident love for the animals made a huge impression on me. They are the kind of vets this world desperately needs, and I hope they never lose their passion for what they do, especially in a field that faces such burnout. While I expected a higher bill for a same-day urgent appointment, the cost was very reasonable and comparable to regular visits at my primary vet. The cherry on top was the follow-up call the next day to check on my cats, which showed just how much they care. This team goes above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their exceptional care!

My husband had to take our Buster Brown to an emergency vet, after he split his nail and he was in so much pain. They were absolutely wonderful, caring and compassionate. Buster loved the staff!! He's home healing and can't thank them enough for taking such great care of our baby boy.
