Pet Wellness Clinic LLC

Our dog is normally very anxious at the vet, whining non-stop and frantically tries to escape. I don't know what it is, but there is something magical about this place where she did not instantly freak out the moment we stepped inside. Once in the exam room, instead of frantically pacing and vocalizing, our dog laid down and was quiet, to our utter shock and amazement. When Dr. Mike (and other staff) came in the room, he (and they all) were all so incredible with her, and with us! They were all so patient, and happy to use treats during her exam (she is VERY food motivated, yet a lot of vet staff at other places rarely would use treats to encourage cooperative care). I have never felt so understood and heard in a veterinary clinic before, he really took the time to understand our concerns, her medical history, what we have tried, and to explain things to us. Our dog is very sensitive about her ears getting looked at, so we told them to muzzle her, and when they brought her back to the treatment area, he had no problems looking inside her ears, didn't even need a muzzle! She normally does not do well with men, but she did fantastic with him! During her exam, Dr. Mike was VERY detailed and thorough, catching a small lump and early signs of arthritis that hadn't been mentioned to us before. There was never any pressure to have any services done, everything was presented very collaboratively, and with a "you don't have to decide today, you are welcome to go home and discuss this more first." He informed of us a lot of things we were not aware of, and was very detailed when going over her bloodwork results in person. He was very honest and thorough, and so patient and kind in answering our questions. We expressed that we were happy to pay for anything they recommended and purchase her prescription diet, medications, etc. from them directly (happy to support the vet and not deal with things getting lost in the mail) yet they still offered several times to tell us the prices of things so we could comparison shop online, applied coupons we didn't know that existed, and informed us of prescription medication program benefits we could take part in that were unaware of. They go above and beyond to help their clients cut costs whenever possible, even if you do not ask! Dr. Mike himself went through different prescription options to find the most economical option without us requesting it, and called me to help coordinate ordering our dog's diet. They even special ordered us her food, medications, and supplements to be picked up at the clinic for our convenience! After the appointment, prior to her dental, and after her dental, they reached out to check in how she was doing, which was so sweet. Her dental check in was very easy, and they sent the cutest photo to update us once she was done. At pickup, a technician went over discharge instructions and at home preventative dental care in great detail with us, discussing in great details recommendations to try given our past issues with dental products causing GI upset, including special ordering a product for us. The technician was patient and thorough, easily spent 15 minutes with us. She has had dentals at other clinics before, none of the other practices reviewed post-dental instructions/specialized preventative care with us after, we were just sent home a generic info sheet, if that. The largest surprise, how AFFORDABLE dentals are here! Easily 1/2 the cost of the practice we went to in Greeley, which already we thought was reasonable. I expected Fort Collins to be more expensive, but not here!! (I love the hyper realistic fish screen savers they had on the computers too!) This place goes above and beyond, has superb veterinary care, outstanding customer service, and is the most transparent and affordable veterinary clinic we have been to with our dog throughout the 10+ years having her. I cannot praise this clinic enough.

I wish I had four hands so I could give this clinic four thumbs up! What a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Most impressive was the time the vet spent explaining everything and answering questions - most vets are somewhat eager to get you out the door but with Dr Bethany I had all the space and time I needed. Front desk help was wonderful, vet tech incredibly friendly, clean facilities. If you’re a pet owner in Fort Collins and don’t go to Pet Wellness you’re a fool!

I'll forever be grateful to PWC for working with my reactive dog and figuring out a protocol that would work for him. I always have a great experience when I go there, feel like they tell me the reasons for what they're doing and listen to what I'm telling them. Great team!

They were incredibly organized, checking in with us to ensure all paperwork was completed and providing helpful reminders about our appointment. Dr. Mike was fantastic with our dog, completing hip and elbow X-rays without sedation. Our dog can be a bit nervous around new people, but the entire staff was patient and great with him.

We have been taking our pets to the Pet Wellness Clini for years. Dr. Mok, Dr. Mike and Dr. Brenda are very knowledgeable and caring vet's. We have known Dr. Mok since he was a vet student at CSU, working with greyhounds when we had a track here in Loveland and we take our own Greyhounds and other dogs to him. He always gives us practical advice and options for our dog' treatments. He takes the time to talk to us and answer our question. He also speaks "dog". We have owned many dogs and we have not had a dog that wasn't eager to go to the Pet Wellness Clinic. The staff are so welcoming and caring for our dogs. Vet Techs come from the back to say hello and meet our new pets. They have "tricks" for nail trims, shots and other procedures. I bet they have a truck load of peanut butter back there. I recently lost one of my precious Greyhounds and when I grieved they grieved and when I was excited about a new family member they were excited. After immunizations or a visit where our dogs are sick, we always get a follow up call back. If we call with a question, Dr. Mok always, personally calls us back. Also, Dr. Mok is not afraid to call colleagues at CSU or Greyhound experts from other countries for insight and info if he needs it. We highly recommend The Pet Wellness Clinic to all pet owners.
