We have used Pet Vet for a few yrs with our dogs but this last time we were given slip showing our dogs shot records so we can get her licenses. Never no problem until we took our second dog for shots following wk. They told my son to get it off line. To make story short we had a difficult time getting the second dogs records. I called the Vet and they said I needed to call Pet Vet in Nevraska. I was given such a run around. I ended up paying double for late fees for their license. All I got was sorry. There is no point in me using their service if I end up paying all the late fees because of their run around. The associate I spoke to in Nevraska said they did not change their shot record policy and I should have been given one for the second dog on visit as well. The techs were not friendly when we went back asking for the paper. I think I will hesitate to continue to use their service now. It was rediculous.

The services provided at Pet Vet Animal Clinic, as a comprehensive pet hospital, typically encompass a range of veterinary care to support the health of your pets. This generally includes routine wellness examinations, which are crucial for monitoring your pet's overall health and detecting potential issues in their early stages. Vaccinations are also a fundamental service, helping to protect your pets from various preventable and potentially serious diseases. Preventative care measures, such as parasite control (including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention) and nutritional counseling, are also commonly offered to promote the long-term well-being of your animal companions.
In the event that your pet becomes ill or sustains an injury, Pet Vet Animal Clinic likely provides medical services to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. While the specific diagnostic capabilities are not detailed in the provided reviews, a standard pet hospital usually has access to laboratory services for blood work and other diagnostic tests, as well as imaging technologies such as X-rays to aid in accurate diagnoses. Treatment options can range from administering medications and providing supportive care to performing more complex medical procedures, depending on the nature and severity of the health concern. Surgical services, including routine procedures like spaying and neutering, as well as other necessary surgeries, may also be available at the clinic.
The customer reviews provide mixed feedback regarding the services and customer experience at Pet Vet Animal Clinic. One reviewer shared a positive sentiment, mentioning that their cat Sonja "loves her Aunt Lisa," implying a positive relationship with at least one staff member at the clinic. This suggests that there are caring and personable individuals working at Pet Vet Animal Clinic who connect well with their animal patients.
However, another, more detailed review presents a significant concern regarding the clinic's record-keeping practices and customer service. This customer, who had been using Pet Vet for several years, described a frustrating experience related to obtaining their second dog's vaccination records for licensing purposes. They reported being given conflicting information, directed to contact a Pet Vet in Nebraska, and ultimately experiencing difficulties in obtaining the necessary documentation, which resulted in them incurring late fees for their dog's license. The reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the runaround they received and the unfriendly demeanor of the technicians when they returned to inquire about the records. This negative experience led the reviewer to express hesitation about continuing to use the clinic's services.
The discrepancy in these two reviews highlights the importance of considering both positive and negative feedback when evaluating a service provider. While one customer had a positive interaction with a staff member, another experienced significant issues with administrative processes and staff attitude. This suggests that while the quality of animal care might be satisfactory for some, there may be inconsistencies in the overall customer experience, particularly concerning administrative tasks like record keeping.
Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers, wellness plans, or specialized services that Pet Vet Animal Clinic might provide. Local users who are interested in learning more about the clinic's offerings, including any potential discounts or specific programs, are encouraged to contact them directly. Inquiring about their policies on vaccination records and their approach to customer service may also be beneficial for prospective clients, especially in light of the issues raised in one of the reviews.
