Pella Corner Animal Clinic

Pella Corner has been my vet for decades (my parents before me). They are also very kind and take such good care of my pet. Dr. Russell is my vet and she is just incredible. She is always very kind to my very nervous pug and is always willing to spend extra time with us to make sure everything is OK and that I understand everything going on. Highly recommend!

Oh, I must share my wonderful experience I have had over the years with Dr Russell and her staff. I have 3 Maltese; Sadie Ann, Zoie Ann and. Ziggie Joe they absolutely love Jenifer. I have had teeth cleaning and some extractions; it helps them live longer lives. Sadie the grandma dog, lived to the ripe old age of 19 years old, she had a tumor on her thyroid, Dr Russell removed it at 16 years old and she lived 3 more years. Zoie was the alpha dog and bless her heart she had a heart murmur and diabetes but because of the great care she received from the staff and Dr Russell at Pella Corner, my sweet Zoie lived to be 14 years old. Her twin brother Ziggie is now 16 years old and has had no problem like the girls did, thank the Lord, I am still enjoying his funny ways and him running through the house! I drive to Pella Corner from Granby Colorado because of the great care and love they have given my babies through the years! Thank you, Ladies, from the front desk, vet techs to the doctors what a talented group of people you are for my fur babies! I do not let just anyone take care of my babies! Thank you again!!

The staff (vet technician) was in the hallway making fun of me and my wife after we had to put down our cat. My wife had Ginger for 19 years. This was a bad enough experience to go through and going to Pella Corner Animal Clinic made it worse.

Dr. Russell and her team have been taking care of our cats for ten years, and we could not ask for better or more compassionate care. As well as our indoor cats, we take care of a colony of semi-ferals (neutered, tame enough for us to mostly handle, too wild to live indoors), and Dr. Russell has treated every one of them with kindness, patience, and wisdom. In addition to taking our cats in for medical care, periodically one of the elderly kitties has had to be euthanized. Whatever the reason for our visit, the animals and I were treated with the utmost consideration from the minute we walked in -- by Jennifer at the desk, by Kristin and Meghan and Sarah and Kelly, and by Dr. Russell. If I could give them ten stars, I would.

I have been incredibly happy with Dr. Susan Ornitz's care of my aged cat and my Standard Poodle over many years. She is thoughtful and attentive to detail while also taking the time to listen to my information and history about my pets. Listening is a rare talent and it helps her decide a course of action to make a diagnosis and provide appropriate therapy. The clinic facilities are clean and well equipped. I also am a veterinarian but only for horses so rely on her to care for my "small" animals. She responds immediately when I call for help. Based on decades of veterinary medical experience, I can be critical about the standard of care provided -- I have been super impressed. My precious cat and Standard Poodle have received excellent care and compassion from Dr. Ornitz.
