My 2 dogs love it here however the price for an injection keeps going up every time. I’ve come for the convenience since it’s so close to me but will be going elsewhere. It’s nearly doubled in a year. From $140 and now the same injection is $220. They mentioned its competitor pricing however the competition seems to be better. Sad to go but will not keep paying unreasonable prices.

Welcome to PAZ Veterinary East
Welcome to the introduction of PAZ Veterinary East, a veterinary care provider located at 3300 E 7th St, Austin, TX 78702, USA. Operating under the platform category of a Pet Hospital, PAZ Veterinary East aims to serve the local community with veterinary services for their pets. You can reach them at phone number (512) 236-8000 or their mobile line +1 512-236-8000.
Based on the feedback from real customers, we aim to provide an objective overview of what you can expect from PAZ Veterinary East, including insights into their environment, services, features, and any mentioned aspects related to pricing which might influence a local user's decision.
Environment:
While specific details about the physical environment are not extensively described, the positive comments about the staff being "SO sweet" and patient suggest a caring and welcoming atmosphere within the clinic. For pet owners, especially those with anxious animals, the demeanor of the staff can significantly impact the overall experience. A typical pet hospital includes examination rooms, and depending on the services offered, might also have areas for diagnostics, surgery, and possibly a comfortable waiting area. The reviews imply a supportive environment created by the staff's attitude.
Services:
As a Pet Hospital, PAZ Veterinary East likely offers a range of veterinary services to address the health needs of pets. Based on the customer reviews, these services include:
- Administration of injections.
- Anal gland expressions, performed regularly for one customer's dog.
- General veterinary care, implied by the mention of the dogs "loving it here."
While the reviews highlight these specific services, it is reasonable to assume that PAZ Veterinary East also offers other common pet hospital services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, treatment for illnesses and injuries, diagnostic testing, and potentially surgical and dental procedures. To get a comprehensive list of their services, contacting them directly would be advisable.
Features:
Several features of PAZ Veterinary East are evident from the customer feedback:
- Sweet and Patient Staff: Multiple mentions of the staff's kindness and patience, particularly when dealing with an anxious dog, indicate a team that prioritizes gentle handling and understanding of pets' emotional needs.
- Convenient Location: For at least one customer, the clinic's proximity is a significant advantage, making it a convenient choice for local pet care.
These features suggest that PAZ Veterinary East offers a caring environment with staff who are good at handling pets, especially those who may be nervous at the vet, and that their location is a benefit for those living nearby.
Promotional Information:
The provided reviews do not explicitly mention any current promotions or special offers. However, the convenience of the location for local residents could be considered an implicit benefit for those living close by. It's worth noting the feedback regarding pricing: one customer mentioned a significant increase in the price of an injection over a year and expressed their intention to seek more reasonably priced care elsewhere, despite the convenience. This suggests that while they might have competitive pricing on some services (as mentioned by the clinic referencing competitor pricing), at least one service's price was perceived as unreasonable by a customer.
To learn about any current promotions or to inquire about the pricing of specific services, it would be best to contact PAZ Veterinary East directly.
Summary for Local Users:
For pet owners in East Austin, TX, PAZ Veterinary East, located at 3300 E 7th St, offers a Pet Hospital with a reputation for a "sweet" and patient staff. If you have a pet that gets anxious at the vet, the team here seems well-equipped to handle them with care. The clinic's location is also convenient for those residing in the area.
However, it is important to be aware of potential pricing considerations. One customer reported a substantial increase in the cost of an injection over a relatively short period and is considering switching to a competitor perceived as having better pricing. While the clinic does consider competitor pricing, it's advisable for local users to inquire about the costs of the specific services their pets require to ensure they align with their budget.
If a caring and patient staff and a convenient location are your top priorities, PAZ Veterinary East may be a good fit. To learn more about their services and pricing, please contact them at (512) 236-8000 or +1 512-236-8000. It would be prudent to discuss the costs of any recurring treatments your pet needs to make an informed decision.
In conclusion, PAZ Veterinary East in Austin, TX, is presented as a convenient Pet Hospital with a kind and patient staff, particularly noted for their handling of anxious pets. Local users should be mindful of potential pricing concerns and are encouraged to inquire about service costs directly.

Feb 21, 2025 · Melissa Rabagoeveryone here is SO sweet. my dog is a big hater of the vet, not aggressive, just a big ball of anxiety, and has to come in monthly-ish for his anal gland expressions. they are always so patient with him. I don't think he'll ever enjoy the vet, but it makes me feel better knowing he is treated so well here!
May 11, 2025 · cadyThis staff is so continuously loving and precise, and educated and solution oriented and even when it's tough to be in their office, because something scary is happening, these humans express an incredible level of care. The most impressive factor of my experience is how much they really care for both humans and their furry families both. I've always been made to feel understood, and listened to, and they went above and beyond to get information from my last vet in another state, to make sure that the highest level of care was provided to my dog Pig. 11/10
Mar 06, 2025 · Patrick AdamsThey're some of the most wonderful vets, techs, and staff we could ask for. Dr. Dedhia (apologies if I'm spelling that wrong) was the first person to tell us there was something very wrong with our little dude. He and Dr. Lau have done great working with the internal specialists at A&M to make sure he gets everything he needs to have quality of life. Dr. Julien also did a wonderful job spaying our tiny girl and she came home without the fear and anxiety we saw after getting our other fixed at ImaciPet. We're so grateful for their care and kind client service. Imriel and Keela thank you too!
Jan 26, 2025 · Seana Epley (Nosy Nancy)Absolutely outstanding. Took 2 of my bosses dogs there today and it was a great experience. The vet and assistants were caring, patient, understanding, and gentle with the dogs. They had lots of knowledge to give out. The price was incredible, especially for such a nice and comfortable place. If you have reactive dogs, getting them in and out is also easy-peasy. They have offices with doors that go outside, so you don’t have to walk through the lobby with your dog and risk extra interaction. They had lots of toys, and the enrichment lick mats really helped with the dogs anxiety and just distracting them in general. Definitely going to bring my own dogs here in the next week or 2 & I’m oddly stoked about it!! Thank you guys for being so great to Jax & Bowser.
