I have been going to Pawsitive Results for just shy of 13 years. I have had many dogs visit them and have nothing but great things to say about Jen and Dr. Topham. When I first started going I had a foster dog that came from a bad situation and we weren't sure how he was going to be forhis visit. Jen had so much patience for him, even though he was not so nice. She sat on the floor with him and gave him peanut butter and treats until he was comfortable with her. By the end of the visit he was a puddle of happiness in her lap. I foster failed him and he currently goes to see Jen every 2 weeks and I am convinced he likes her more than me, he loves his visits with Jen so much. Jen has helped other foster dogs of mine and my own personal dogs, with empathy and compassion for each one. She has been so patient with me and my questions over the last 13 years. She has helped me rehab one of my dogs that has a pinched nerve in his neck and another that has had TPLO surgery, ACL tear and terrible arthritis. We drive almost an hour to see her every 2 weeks and I would drive more for my dogs to see her. I have referred many of my friends, family and clients to Pawsitive Results and will continue to recommended the ladies at Pawsitive Results.

The center is not just a place for physical therapy; it is a haven where patience, empathy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques converge to create genuine "pawsitive results" for animals. This detailed introduction will explore the environment, specific services, distinguishing features, and promotional insights of this exceptional rehabilitation center.
The environment at Pawsitive Results Animal Rehabilitation Center is clearly designed with the comfort and well-being of the animals as the utmost priority. Client testimonials consistently highlight a calm, patient, and understanding atmosphere. The staff, particularly Jen, demonstrates an extraordinary ability to connect with and soothe even the most challenging or anxious animals. The review of the foster dog who was "not so nice" initially but became a "puddle of happiness in her lap" by the end of the visit perfectly illustrates this commitment to creating a stress-free and positive experience.
This suggests that the facility incorporates elements that reduce anxiety for pets, which could include quiet treatment areas, non-slip flooring, and perhaps specialized equipment tailored for gentle exercise and therapy. The focus is not on rushing procedures but on building trust and ensuring the animal is comfortable before any rehabilitation work begins. The dedication of staff to "sit on the floor with him and give him peanut butter and treats" is indicative of a hands-on, patient-first approach. This level of personalized attention contributes significantly to an environment where pets feel safe and are more receptive to treatment. While details on specific hydrotherapy pools or specialized treadmills are not provided, the success stories imply access to appropriate rehabilitation tools and a space conducive to therapeutic exercises.
Pawsitive Results Animal Rehabilitation Center specializes in a range of services aimed at improving the mobility, strength, balance, and pain management for pets. Their core offerings, within the scope of a specialized Pet Hospital focusing on rehabilitation, include:
- **Post-Surgical Rehabilitation:** They provide critical support for animals recovering from various surgeries, such as TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) for ACL tears. This involves tailored exercise programs to restore strength, range of motion, and function to the affected limb.
- **Arthritis and Pain Management:** For pets suffering from chronic conditions like severe arthritis or pinched nerves, Pawsitive Results offers therapies aimed at alleviating pain, reducing inflammation, and improving mobility without invasive procedures. This likely includes therapeutic exercises, modalities, and potentially other non-pharmacological pain relief methods.
- **Neurological Rehabilitation:** The successful rehabilitation of a dog with a pinched nerve in its neck suggests expertise in addressing neurological deficits, helping animals regain coordination and strength.
- **Behavioral Support for Reactive Animals:** The case of Greta, the reactive dog, demonstrates their ability to work with animals that have behavioral challenges, indicating a holistic approach that considers the pet's emotional state as integral to their physical progress. This type of support helps calm animals, making them more amenable to therapy.
- **Customized Exercise Programs:** The core of their service involves creating individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each animal's specific condition, recovery stage, and temperament. This ensures that therapies are effective and safe.
- **Client Education and Support:** Jen's patience with owner questions over 13 years highlights their commitment to educating pet parents, empowering them to participate effectively in their pet's recovery journey and understand the rehabilitation process.

Their ability to calm and comfort reactive or anxious animals, even those from difficult backgrounds, sets them apart. They prioritize the animal's emotional state, building trust before treatment.
- **Specialized Expertise in Rehabilitation:** Unlike general vets, Pawsitive Results focuses exclusively on rehabilitation. This specialization means they have deep knowledge and experience in a wide range of conditions requiring physical therapy, from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management.
- **Proven "Pawsitive Results":** The clinic's name itself is a testament to their track record of success. Client testimonials consistently report significant improvements in their pets' mobility, comfort, and overall well-being. The dog that now "loves his visits with Jen so much" after being initially difficult is a prime example of their transformative impact.
- **Professionalism and Knowledge:** Clients consistently praise Jen and Dr. Topham for being "professional, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions and make recommendations." This expertise ensures effective treatment plans and informed owner decisions.

The most compelling promotional information for Pawsitive Results Animal Rehabilitation Center comes from the authentic and enthusiastic endorsements of their long-term clients. The willingness of clients to "drive almost an hour" and even "drive more" for their dogs to see Jen speaks volumes about the perceived value and unique quality of care provided. Apr 03, 2025 · Reese EismonJen has been working with my reactive dog Greta for a while now, after each session Greta is relaxed and calm. I highly recommend Jen and staff. The experience is always positive, Jen is professional, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions and make recommendations! Appointments are always are seen on time.
Apr 03, 2025 · Susan BohanekGo elsewhere is my recommendation because Jen the owner is anything but authentic & medically professional! HER DOG ATTACKED mine when we went for treadmill appointment and she lied to cover it up. Her dog was standing at front door when we entered building & grabbed my 3 yr old Labrador's head.. literally pinning us against the front door! Her dog latched onto my dog's face for several minutes, I got bit, was bleeding, but Jen didn't even so much as offer me a towel, I had to ask for something to stop the bleeding!! Then she started her cover up work to diminish what happened including almost lying in court until she saw me there (she changed plea then). JUSTICE FOR MY DOG! Her negligence cost me over $20,000 in neurological & emergency medical treatment for my dog who was there for treadmill because she WAS a dock diver! The business's insurance paid a fraction of my costs. My dog will never be the same and all Jen did was lie to cover up, never even called to check on us, she just scrambled to cover up her extreme negligence. She had been bringing the dog to work and knew it didn't like other dogs, and her dog later had to be put down because it bit again!! How does a professional let that happen?**There are much better options ** Aurora Vet has a FANTASTIC laser & treadmill program with amazing staff and that's when you see how lacking things are in Newbury!
Apr 01, 2025 · Robin LibWe have been bringing our senior dogs here for a few years. They are dealing with various issues ranging from post-op to arthritis to general aging. Tails start wagging as soon as they see where we are. They enjoy their treatments and leave with a spring in their step. We love the vitality in them, and the obvious reduction in discomfort. We can always tell when they're coming due for treatment, and they sleep soundly after they've had it. We are very grateful to pawsitive results for all they do for our quality of life and activity.
Apr 03, 2025 · Dennis BillingsThe staff is amazing at Pawsitive Results. My dog Oliver’s acl injury healed nicely thanks to the water tread mill and massage therapy.
