PAWS - The Modern Spay Neuter Clinic

If there was a lower rating to give PAWS would receive it. I have never been in a situation that was so unprofessional and unacceptable in my life. I was scheduled for a routine neuter for my little guy. We followed the instructions and arrived. Of course my dog was nervous. We got called back to the room and the doctor asked for my dog to be muzzled to which I obliged. We attempted to get my dog on the scale and he’s just not having it. When I say the doctor manhandled my dog to try and get him on the scale is an understatement. The way he grabbed my dog was border line abusive. He then immediately dropped and said “yea we aren’t doing his surgery today he’s too nervous.” So I am attempting to talk to this so called vet and he replies with “I don’t have time for this” to which I asked if he’s ever dealt with a nervous dog before and he said yes but we aren’t going to do his today because he “can’t examine him.” Never once did he approach my dog to introduce him self or attempt to help me calm the dog just grabbed him and tried to force him on the scale. I attempted to resolve it right then and there because I took off a week of work to be home with my dog and he said “I’m not going to waste my time with you.” And literally walked out and shut the door in my face. If this is how he handles dogs with the owner in the room I’m terrified for when the owner is not in the room. It was the most unprofessional interaction I have ever had and am thankful they won’t be seeing my dog. DO NOT GO HERE! Abusive and rude behaviors from the doctor who is also the owner. It looks like the owner of this so called professional business can respond to a Google review but is unwilling to call and speak to the client themselves. The dog never once growled at people in the waiting room. Did he bark yes. And please enlighten me about what behavioral issues he has. I have had bear for 4 years but he sadly had a very traumatic vet experience when he was younger and that has made him nervous now. So apparently it’s my fault but you never once thought to ask or thought to have some bed side manners with my dog. Yes the way you were gripping his harness is unacceptable and I professional.

We waited 2 months for an appointment brought our dog in for her spay. She is the nervous sort so her nerves were getting the best of her. We were asked to put her on the scale for weight. She is a large dog and very strong. We were unable to get her on the scale alone. When we asked the employee for help he replied he didn't like my husband's attitude and told us to leave. Very rude and unhelpful. I am glad they asked us to leave, I wouldn't want people like that anywhere near my dog for a medical procedure. The low price should tell you everything you need to know. Clearly they don't care about each pet as an individual just the money. Get them in and out as quick as possible to make the most money. Think twice before wasting your time w this joke of a facility!

Cool spot for your pups first sets of vaccinations. Decent price and I've never really had to wait, pretty quick service. I do recommend. My Toy Yorkie, King👑💙

So greatful I found PAWS! Got my dog’s vaccines and Spay surgery here and I couldn’t be more satisfied! Everyone was really nice and helpful and I could tell my dog was well taken care of! Thank you all so much!

This was my first time here. The staff was awesome! The clinic is very friendly with a friendly and calm atmosphere. Every pet I saw there was comfortable and was not stressed. He took our little guy, in got him neutered, and had him taking care of real timely.
