Took my recently feral cat (now a lovebug) here for vaccinations and exam. The staff was very nice and gentle with him since it was his first visit. A few days later took him back to be neutered. Cost was less expensive than other vets I had called. I was very pleased with Paws & Claws. They will be my cat’s vet going forward.

Paws & Claws Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Nashville, Tennessee, and the surrounding areas, Paws & Claws Animal Hospital, located at 4803 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220, USA, serves as a local "Pet Hospital" offering veterinary care for a variety of animal companions. They can be contacted at phone number (615) 833-4423 or mobile phone +1 615-833-4423. Online customer reviews highlight the clinic's gentle approach, particularly with sensitive animals, its affordability for certain procedures, and the long-term satisfaction of pet owners who have entrusted their animals' health to them for many years.
One reviewer recounts a positive experience bringing their recently feral cat, who had become affectionate, to Paws & Claws Animal Hospital for vaccinations and an exam. They specifically commend the staff for being "very nice and gentle with him" during his initial visit, recognizing his potentially nervous state as a newly socialized animal. This highlights a patient and understanding approach to animal handling, which can be particularly important for pets who may be anxious or fearful in a veterinary setting. The same reviewer later brought the cat back to be neutered and noted that the "cost was less expensive than other vets I had called." This suggests that Paws & Claws Animal Hospital may offer competitive pricing for certain common procedures, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious pet owners. Overall, the reviewer expressed being "very pleased" with their experience and indicated that Paws & Claws would be their cat's primary veterinarian going forward, signifying a high level of satisfaction and trust in the clinic's services.
Another long-term client shares their positive experience, stating, "Love Paws and Claws. Been going here since my Pups were born (7 years this month)." This extended relationship speaks to the consistent quality of care and service provided by the hospital over a significant period. The reviewer praises the staff as "always been great" and describes the veterinarian as "Great." Most importantly, they affirm the health and well-being of their dogs, stating, "My Doggies are Great and Healthy!" This outcome-focused testimonial underscores the effectiveness of the veterinary care provided at Paws & Claws Animal Hospital in maintaining the long-term health of their patients.
Based on these customer reviews, several key features of Paws & Claws Animal Hospital can be identified. The clinic appears to have a "nice and gentle" staff, indicating a compassionate and patient approach to handling animals, which can be particularly beneficial for pets who are nervous, fearful, or have had negative experiences at other veterinary clinics. The affordability of at least one common procedure (neutering) suggests that the clinic may offer competitive pricing on certain services, making quality veterinary care more accessible to a wider range of pet owners. The long-term relationships and the reported good health of the pets under their care (7+ years in one instance) point to a consistent standard of quality and a commitment to the ongoing well-being of their animal patients.
While these reviews provide valuable insights into the staff's demeanor, pricing for a specific procedure, and long-term client satisfaction, they do not offer extensive details about the clinic's environment or the comprehensive range of services they provide. However, as a "Pet Hospital," it is reasonable to expect a standard veterinary medical facility equipped to handle various healthcare needs of companion animals. This would typically include examination rooms for consultations, a surgical suite for performing operations (as evidenced by the neutering service), diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines or laboratory facilities for running tests, and potentially hospitalization areas for animals requiring overnight or extended care.
In terms of services, a full-service "Pet Hospital" like Paws & Claws Animal Hospital would likely offer a wide range of medical care for pets. These services typically include routine wellness exams, vaccinations (as mentioned in one review), parasite prevention (flea, tick, and heartworm), dental care (cleanings, extractions), microchipping, nutritional counseling, and management of chronic conditions. Given the neutering service highlighted, it is clear that surgical procedures are part of their offerings. They would also likely provide diagnostic services to identify the cause of illnesses, including blood work, urinalysis, fecal testing, and imaging (radiography). The fact that they have cared for puppies from birth for seven years suggests experience in pediatric care and ongoing wellness management throughout a pet's life.
The positive feedback regarding their handling of a feral cat during its initial veterinary visits indicates that the staff is experienced in working with animals that may be particularly anxious or unaccustomed to being handled. This could be a significant feature for owners of rescue animals or those with pets who are generally stressed by veterinary visits.

They may also have a website or social media presence where such information might be available. Inquiring about their pricing for various common procedures and their hours of operation would also be beneficial for potential new clients.
In conclusion, Paws & Claws Animal Hospital in Nashville, TN, appears to be a well-regarded "Pet Hospital" known for its gentle and caring staff, as evidenced by their positive interactions with a recently feral cat. Their affordable pricing for at least one common surgical procedure (neutering) makes them a potentially cost-effective option for pet owners. The long-term relationships and the reported good health of their patients over many years underscore the consistency and quality of their veterinary care.
