Our Wallace 2 years old had an emergency where he was having trouble going to the bathroom on day 1 the next morning Wallace was in distress alert. We went to Palmer Sarah MCCarter was attending to Wallace My family and I went into a private room 25 mins later Sarah comes and tells us Wallace is OK we got the catheter to his bladder and we are draining his bladder. He needs to stay here for 3-7 days and we have to change diet we did. We were so happy no more than 10 mins later Sarah comes back in Wallace had died. He died from stress. We were and still are in shocked. Something didn’t seem right. I had a 350 bill told me to pay or Wallace will not be released to us it was horrible. I ended up getting his medical record. It turns out that they have Wallace dexdomitor which is a sedative he had an allergic reaction and Wallace died of respiratory and cardiac arrest. They also were giving him a antisdan to reverse the reaction. We were lied to in how he died the communication was far from right. Nobody wants to take any type of accountability. We are so heart broken for our loss. Wallace was our daughter’s cat who brought her so much joy and happiness. Wallace was her support cat for panic and anxiety. We want Justice for Wallace and we will not stop fighting until we do so. We love you Wallace Please be careful going there. They might be good for general things for animals but certainly not for emergencies.

The available reviews present a stark contrast in experiences at Palmer Veterinary Clinic. One отзыв details a tragic emergency situation with a two-year-old cat named Wallace who was experiencing urinary issues. The owner recounts bringing Wallace to the clinic in distress and being attended to by Sarah Mccarter. Initially, the family was informed that a catheter had been successfully placed to drain Wallace's bladder and that he would need to stay for 3-7 days with a change in diet. However, within ten minutes, they were informed that Wallace had died, allegedly from stress. This sudden turn of events left the family in shock and raised concerns about the circumstances of his death.
According to the pet owner's account, a subsequent review of Wallace's medical records revealed that he had been administered dexdomitor, a sedative, to which he allegedly had an allergic reaction, leading to respiratory and cardiac arrest. The owner further states that antisdan was also administered to reverse the reaction. The отзыв expresses profound heartbreak and alleges that the family was initially misled about the cause of Wallace's death, indicating a significant breakdown in communication. The owner also describes being presented with a $350 bill and told that Wallace would not be released until it was paid, which they found to be a horrible experience. This отзыв strongly cautions other pet owners to be careful when considering Palmer Veterinary Clinic, particularly for emergency situations, based on their devastating experience and allegations of misdiagnosis and misrepresentation.
In contrast, another отзыв describes a positive experience with an annual check-up for a 90-pound dog named Mary Jane. The owner specifically mentions "Mary Jane" (presumably a staff member) and praises the quick and loving care provided during a nail clipping, even noting that Mary Jane can be a bit grumpy. The owner concludes with a positive sentiment, thanking "Palmer's." This отзыв suggests that for routine matters such as annual check-ups and nail trims, some pet owners have had satisfactory experiences with the clinic and its staff.
Given these highly divergent accounts, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of Palmer Veterinary Clinic. The positive отзыв suggests a friendly and efficient environment for routine care, with staff who are capable of handling even somewhat uncooperative pets with "loving" care. The negative отзыв, however, paints a picture of potential misdiagnosis in emergency situations, alleged miscommunication, and a distressing billing practice following a pet's death. The mention of a private room for consultations suggests that the clinic has facilities for discussing pet health in a more personal setting.
The services offered at Palmer Veterinary Clinic appear to include routine annual check-ups, nail trimming, and emergency care, as indicated by the two reviews. The negative отзыв also implies the use of sedatives (dexdomitor) and reversal agents (antisdan) in their medical protocols. However, the alleged adverse reaction to the sedative in an emergency situation raises serious concerns about the clinic's handling of critical cases. The positive отзыв indicates competence in routine preventative care.
Features of the clinic that can be inferred from the reviews include the presence of private consultation rooms and a staff that is described as quick and loving for routine procedures by one client, but also allegedly dishonest and unaccountable in an emergency situation by another. The involvement of Mccarter Sarah DVM in both cases suggests she plays a significant role in the medical care provided at the clinic.
There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Potential clients should carefully consider the significant discrepancy in the reported experiences. The positive отзыв suggests that for routine care, Palmer Veterinary Clinic might be a suitable option for some. However, the serious allegations in the negative отзыв regarding emergency care, misdiagnosis, miscommunication, and billing practices should give potential clients pause and warrant thorough consideration and potentially seeking additional information or reviews before entrusting their pets to this clinic, especially for critical medical needs.
In conclusion, Palmer Veterinary Clinic, led by Mccarter Sarah DVM in Plattsburgh, NY, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While one client reported a positive experience with a routine check-up and nail trimming, another detailed a devastating emergency situation alleging misdiagnosis, miscommunication, and questionable billing practices following their pet's death due to an apparent allergic reaction to a sedative. Potential clients are strongly advised to weigh these contrasting experiences carefully and conduct further research before making a decision about their pet's care.
