Ormewood Animal Hospital

Just returned from our first visit at Ormewood, and this was easily the best experience we've had at the vet. Everyone took so much time and care to discuss our dog's health needs and answered any questions that came up. I usually go into vet appointments with a certain level of skepticism, but from the get-go knew this was a top tier clinic. Dr. James and crew seem to genuinely want to offer the best care for their patients. Their prices are also super reasonable, and we experienced zero upselling. Highly recommend Ormewood!

Dr. James is the best! It is thanks to him that our dog has made it to 12 1/2 years old despite being diagnosed with her first form of cancer at 6 years old. He is extremely knowledgable and truly cares for his patients. He always answers all of our questions and concerns. Over the years, he has delivered us with news of our dog having new medical conditions and always did so in a calm and caring way. The rest of the team is fantastic, too! They always made sure our dog got to go into a room ASAP since she is dog and cat reactive. They are also quick to respond to billing questions or medication refills.

Best Vet in Town! Great prices, fantastic staff, clean and welcoming space. Its easy to work with them to get sudden appointments, and they are very responsive. Doctor James is our favorite!!

Ormewood is the only local place that would take a squirrel that I found in the street that had been hit by a car. No appointment needed. I would have liked to talk to a vet though before surrendering the squirrel for euthanasia.

I love how homey this clinic feels- it really seems to calm my dog’s nerves. The place doesn’t have the typical echo of a vet’s office, so it really cuts down on noise. They also seem to be proactive about getting you into a room so you don’t have to wait in the lobby with other dogs walking by. The staff are all very kind too! Dr. Aubry is wonderful and I can tell she cares a lot about animals. She always takes time to answer my questions and never makes me feel rushed.
