I love this veterinary group. Every dog, oh and one cat, in my family since 1956 has been treated by this group. It started with Dr Johnson. My current pup, Rupert, loves everyone there and they were amazing with all of our previous animals.

Welcome to Oradell Veterinary Group of Hasbrouck Heights

Oradell Veterinary Group of Hasbrouck Heights, located at 273 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604, USA, serves as a local pet hospital catering to the veterinary needs of the community. Operating under the platform category "Pet Hospital Near Me," this clinic can be reached at (201) 288-0299 or their mobile number, +1 201-288-0299. Reviews from pet owners provide varied perspectives on the services and environment of this veterinary group.

One long-term customer expresses deep loyalty, stating that their family's pets, spanning several generations since 1956, have been treated by this group, starting with a Dr. Johnson. This reviewer notes that their current dog, Rupert, enjoys visiting the clinic and that the group has consistently provided excellent care for their previous animals. Such enduring patronage suggests a history of positive experiences and a level of trust built over many years within the local community.

In contrast, another reviewer presents a highly critical viewpoint, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the veterinary industry in general and, implicitly, with their experience in the area. While this review does not explicitly detail interactions with Oradell Veterinary Group beyond mentioning it as the "third veteran clinic in the area," the intensity of the criticism warrants attention. The reviewer's focus is on perceived corruption and the feeling of being overcharged without receiving adequate value. This perspective highlights potential concerns about transparency in pricing and the perceived necessity of recommended procedures within the veterinary field.

A more specific account from another customer details an experience concerning a suspected pregnancy in their Yorkie. The initial examination involved a $92 fee, with the veterinarian reportedly unable to confirm pregnancy definitively without an X-ray, which was quoted at an additional $300-$350. The reviewer draws a comparison to a previous experience at another clinic (Carlstadt Animal Center, now closed), where a pregnancy scare for the same dog resulted in a $680 X-ray and further examinations, only for the veterinarian to conclude that pregnancy was unlikely due to the dog's age and breed-specific reproductive patterns. This anecdote raises questions about the clarity of diagnostic procedures, the associated costs, and the communication of relevant information to pet owners.

The reviewer who shared the pregnancy concern expresses frustration with the perceived high costs and the lack of a definitive diagnosis without incurring significant expense. They also recount contacting the local police department to report their concerns about the business practices. This escalation indicates a high level of dissatisfaction and a feeling that their concerns were not adequately addressed. The reviewer's plea for community awareness and a focus on morality over profit suggests a belief that other pet owners might be facing similar issues.

It is important to note that this detailed negative review includes the reviewer's personal interpretation of events and their emotional response to the situation. While their experience is valid and should be considered, it represents a single perspective. The mention of police involvement and the reviewer's stated intention to investigate further suggests an ongoing dispute and a high level of personal investment in their claims.

Considering the available information, Oradell Veterinary Group of Hasbrouck Heights appears to be a long-established pet hospital with a history of providing care to local pets, as evidenced by the positive long-term customer. However, there are also significant concerns raised by other reviewers regarding pricing transparency, the necessity and cost of diagnostic procedures, and overall business practices. These contrasting viewpoints suggest a need for potential clients to conduct their own due diligence, ask detailed questions about examination fees, diagnostic procedures, and treatment plans, and seek clarity on all associated costs before proceeding with veterinary services.

Given the limited and conflicting nature of the provided reviews, it is not possible to provide a definitive assessment of the environment, services, features, or promotional information of Oradell Veterinary Group. The long-standing positive feedback indicates a history of satisfactory care for some, while the detailed negative account raises serious concerns about specific aspects of their practice. Local users considering this pet hospital should weigh these perspectives and perhaps seek additional information or consultations to make an informed decision about their pet's care.

This is the third veteran clinic in the area. I believe that I have had enough. These reviews on Google won't do. This industry is so corrupt, it's pathetic. I will make it my business to protect the community that I live in from scumbags that are here to rob you of your money without providing any sort of value, at all. Look at the photo of my Yorkie girl. She is about 6 weeks pregnant (at least that's what my wife and my 3 children think) based on her nippples and stomach swelling up. They wanted $92 and said that the vet wouldn't be able to confirm for sure and that an x-ray will most likely be needed which is $300-$350. I have done that six months ago in the Carlstadt Animal Center, this was the first clinic we went to when our Yorki girl was 8 months old. We were very excited thinking she was pregnent and so I paid a total of $680 for the x-ray first. Which is the most expensive, vet said this is needed to check for any bones, heart, etc. After followed another examination, hudnred of dollars more. Then before they sent me hom and after robbing me, vet said that most likely she is not pregnant because first of all she is too young, second of all - no Yorki gets pregnant during the first heat! I wish I knew this then. This clinic has officially closed thanks to my intervention just last month. Wake up people, one a time - we can make a difference! I would like to finish this lengthy review by letting communities know that the employees of this establishment called the local police department, who showed up on site and asked me a few questions. I have explained what this business is practicing here, told them that I am at this point going to investigate this myself. I have 3 children. 2 teenage girls and a boy, I am beyond frustrated that scumbags can do whatever they want and there is none that will do anything about it. I have spent an enormous amount of my own time on this, please do not ignore it, do not be quite. We need to strive for better as humans and value morality over the hunt for the dollar. PS - I will update this review with more photos of Stella in about a month from now once she delivers her babies 馃檪

I've been going here for 16 years with my baby girl (dog) and they have followed her needs and taken care of her all this time. It has been familiar faces all this time and I feel like we have a home away from home.

Dr. J DeVries and the entire staff at the Heights office are caring professionals. My Akita was seen at this office and attended to by the Staff and Dr "D" for Her entire life. It is more convenient for me at the Heights office, but if need be the Main Hospital has all the Specialists and equipment for pet care. My Thanks to Dr "D" and His staff

The staff at Oradell Veterinary Group were extremely kind and helpful! My dog was visiting from out of state, she isn鈥檛 a patient here but they told me to bring her right in. They removed the tick and also provided a complimentary tick remover for the future. Anyone that is looking for a new Veterinarian for their pet/pets I would highly recommend! Thank you again!
