Dr. Sam Martinez and his staff treat us and our pets with honesty, fairness, and love. When you call the office, a friendly voice answers the phone every time. They truly care about our pets. When we go to Old Towne Vet Clinic we don't feel like a number. This is a family owned and run practice that is genuine and personable. Dr. Martinez's prices are fair and the waiting, and exam rooms are very clean, comfortable, and pleasant to look at- it is not run down like some other clinics. The equipment and the office is new and state-of-the-art. Dr. Martinez's compassion is world-class. He has treated at least 8 of our animals of the years and even though his current practice is far away from where we live, we still make the trip to Manassas unless we have a true veterinary emergency. Wow! Dr. Martinez and his staff are angels. My 2yr old GSD was terrified to go to the vet after being treated at a different practice before we found this one. They allowed us to do a “welcome visit” so we got to walk around the office before the appointment so he could get familiar with the area. Fast forward to today and my pup got the vaccines he needed and didn’t even notice it was happening. Dr and staffs calmness and patience won today. So happy with the outcome and glad to be patients at this office! Looking forward to bringing our newest dog as well!

This is the best vet I have been to. My dog has a serious leg injury. I have no kids and my dog is the most important thing in my life. I was erratic, scared and not the most pleasant person trying to get her help. The vet was so professional and only cared about getting my dog the surgery she needed which will occur the day before Christmas. If you love your pet and want to find a vet that genuinely cares about your pet. I highly recommend. 🐾♥️

A very good and fairly priced local vet. Despite the chaos of our arrival (our cat pooped all over everything), they were friendly and understanding. They listened and calmed our worries. There have been a few communication issues, but I may also be impatient for our sick kitty to get better. We will officially switch over to them for our vet services.

I gave this clinic two stars only because I felt the vet technicians always treated me and my pet with kindness and patience. The vet at this clinic (Dr. Martinez) lost his temper on me about my pet, and was very unprofessional. My dog is a very skittish and challenging rescue at times; I would not recommend bringing your pet here if your pet is requiring more patience and compassion.
