Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital

I absolutely love Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital!! Dr. Tancredi is super knowledgeable and obviously cares about the animals that he treats. He has consistently gone above & beyond to ease my concerns. I've taken my cat to other vets and Old Ridge has by far been my favorite. The staff is also extremely friendly & accommodating!

I wanted to update my review because the compassion we experienced yesterday was second to none. We said goodbye to our sweet girl of 14 years (all of which Dr. Tancredi has been our vet) and Dr. Tancredi was not only kind and caring during the process, he made us feel sure that we were making the right decision. He gave us time to say goodbye and graciously explained what was happening medically (per my request) because I wanted to make sure. We felt she was telling us she was ready to go, but his explanation gave us peace and helped us make the decision to stop her pain. He first helped her fall asleep and then she was able to comfortably leave us. Helping people say goodbye to a beloved family member is no easy feat and our hearts are heavy, but we are so grateful. See you in the stars, Stella.

Dr. Tancredi is absolutely amazing. One of our kittens is very very sick, we really didn’t have the funds to take him to the emergency vet so my daughter made the mistake of going through a virtual vet, who diagnosed him with an upper respiratory infection and then charged her for the visit and meds and said the meds would be here in 5-7 days. When I woke up this morning he was very dehydrated and his little eyes were rolling around in his head like he was seizing. Sneezing nonstop, sometimes 20-30 times in a min. And very lethargic. Last night we were worried about him overnight but this morning was a scare. Dr. Tancredi wasted no time. He said to bring ozzy in right at 9 am. (Of course he perked up a bit between here and there and didn’t seem as bad, typical cat) They immediately gave him fluids, medication and a couple of shots he needed and he’s home and looks so much better already. We’ve also been struggling to get an appointment to get him neutered at the spca, Dr T said to bring him back next week and he’ll neuter him as well. I am so grateful to them because I can guarantee you there’s no way he would’ve made it even 3 days longer with no medication. He hadn’t been drinking and would’ve passed from dehydration most likely. We are so so grateful to Dr T and everyone at Old Ridge. Thank you all a million times over. We will be telling our neighbors and friends who foster to make the switch to Old Ridge animal hospital asap 💯

The Old Ridge Vet Team and Doctor Albert Lynch just performed 2 ACL surgeries on my 2 year old pit bulls hind knees, at the same time! They called us before the surgery, right after the surgery, and again when she was ready to be picked up. Dr. Lynch sent us home with a 40 page packet about what to expect after her surgery. Dr. Bill gave us his personal cell number to reach out to him in case we have any questions. We did end up texting him and he got back to us very quickly! The old ridge team truly cares about the animals they take care of. We are always welcomed with smiles and someone always comes to greet our dogs when we walk through the door. I can’t thank old ridge and dr lynch enough for how awesome they have been to make sure our girl heals safely!

We walked in with an urgent issue for Teddy and even though the vet was busy he was able to help us and provide future directions. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We would go back here if ever needed
