I've been bringing my furry family to Old Derby for at least 25 years...probably more! The quality of care is beyond outstanding, as is the compassion of the staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My dog has stress related seizures and Dr. Kimball comes out to the car to sedate her a bit if we need to bring her in. Jess, one of the amazing techs, does any necessary blood draws in our car to avoid the stress of bringing Tuukka inside. What other vet does that????

Apr 09, 2025 · Paige Wilbur5 stars doesn’t seem like enough to THANK these wonderful, loving workers who cared for my 1 yo Barney (Golden Retriever). I had a major surgery to my knee and needed to board him from a Thurs to a Monday. I was sent pictures of Barney every day!! I signed up Barney for extra activities and a bath so he would be very happy while his mom was away… I cried when I dropped him off and cried when I picked him up! He is my baby - I have no children. Old Derby Inn ROCKS. Everyone is so loving and truly cares about each animal they are taking care of!! I very highly recommend and would happy to be a reference for anyone thinking of utilizing their services!!
