As a full-service 'Pet Hospital', Northgate Animal Hospital offers a wide array of services designed to meet the diverse health needs of pets at all life stages. Their comprehensive service list includes essential preventive care, which is a cornerstone of their practice. This encompasses routine wellness examinations, crucial for early detection of health issues and for maintaining overall pet health. They provide tailored vaccination programs, including core vaccines like Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, and others relevant to a pet's lifestyle, such as Leptospirosis and Bordetella for dogs, and Feline Leukemia for cats. Wellness packages are a notable offering, bundling various services like exams, vaccinations, heartworm tests, and intestinal parasite exams, with advanced options including blood panels, CBC, thyroid tests, and urinalysis. Beyond preventive care, the clinic offers a full range of diagnostic services. This includes an in-house laboratory for rapid blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, as well as imaging services like digital X-rays, all crucial for accurate and timely diagnoses. Surgical services are also a key component of their care, ranging from routine procedures such as spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries. They prioritize pain management and patient safety during surgical procedures, utilizing IV catheters and fluids. Dental care, including professional cleanings and extractions, is provided to address oral health, which is vital for a pet's overall well-being. Furthermore, Northgate Animal Hospital offers an on-site pharmacy for convenient access to necessary medications and an online pharmacy for home delivery of pet meds, flea & tick treatment, and specialized diets. This goes beyond mere medical treatment, focusing on the pet's emotional well-being during visits. The "better business bureau®-accredited clinic" status also adds a layer of credibility and trustworthiness. Oct 30, 2024 · steve mooneyDr Hughes and his team are wonderful. They take great care of our boys. I have to take my foot sensitive corgi to have his nails trimmed every 6 weeks and they have spent a lot of time getting him used to the process, as even medicated he can be a challenge.
