We were referred here from Vetco for our boxer. He had a very specific eye condition that needed a specialist. We were able to book an appointment and we were seen promptly. The nurses and the vet were both very kind and considerate, not only to our dog but to us as well. The nurse went over some basics of his condition and the vet went into further detail. She took the time to explain the situation, explain her plan for treatment, and allowed us to ask questions and fully understand anything we may have needed clarification on. The whole process, including procedure, took two hours. When we returned for his checkup, we were welcomed with open arms and they remembered us and our dog and were eager to see the progress. Our dog had healed up quite nicely and we were still treated very well, I would even argue like family. All in all, I would highly recommend coming here for anything needed in the related field and cannot express enough gratitude for the care and professionalism we received from not only the nurses and vet, but from all the staff here. Disregard the naysayers or those who have a poor opinion of this place and the former managing team. They have a good thing going on here and we would bring our dog back in a heartbeat.

Several years ago our mini-schnauzer Gunnar was diagnosed [by Dr Rainbow] with an eye condition called Immune-Mediated Conjunctivitis and Corneal Mineral Degeneration and was put on 3 different eye drops needed 2x daily which he told me Gunnar would need the rest of his life. Last summer we had a recheck appointment with Dr Sankey and what a delight she was and very personable. I could tell she loved her job and loved the animals and her assistant was kind and gentle with Gunnar. After reevaluating him she was able to reduce his drops and he has since been doing great. Everyone from the staff to the vet techs are friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this clinic.

Wouldn't go any place else. Dr. Robin Sankey is above awesome. She is thorough & explains my dog's situation with care, detail & is reasonable in advising what next steps should be taken.

My experience with NHVO was wonderful - my cat suddenly developed an eye issue and after seeing my regular vet about it, they suggested I consult a veterinary ophthalmologist, but said getting an appointment could take weeks or months and they told me to just go to the ER with her instead. I decided to call NHVO first and was fortunately able to get an appointment the very next morning! Everyone at the clinic was extremely kind. Dr. Sankey and the vet tech, Adriana, were both so nice - they were gentle with my cat and very thorough, both in their exam and in explaining everything to me. If this was a regular vet facility, I’d be switching to them for all my go-to vet appointments!
