Unfortunately, we needed a Vet on New Years day to euthanize our family cat of 17 years. Dr. Granville was at my home within an hour of calling him and he was extremely compassionate and understanding of how emotional this was for our family. He was extremely gentle with Shadow and the comfort that gave us just knowing that our cat's last moments were in his own environment in a calm, compassionate manner are invaluable to us. Considering this was a home emergency visit on a holiday, I felt the pricing was extremely reasonable. I hope we don't require his services again for a long while but I would absolutely recommend him.

Welcome to North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service
The North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service offers a distinctive approach to pet healthcare, standing apart from traditional brick-and-mortar "Pet Hospitals." This service brings professional veterinary care directly to your home in Attleboro, MA 02703, USA, serving clients through a convenient and personalized model. Dr. Granville and his team can be reached at (508) 223-7680 or via mobile at +1 508-223-7680. This innovative service addresses a growing demand for veterinary attention that prioritizes pet comfort and owner convenience, especially for animals prone to anxiety in clinical settings, or for families facing mobility challenges or busy schedules.
The core distinction of North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service lies in its "environment": your pet's familiar and comforting home. This approach significantly diminishes the stress and anxiety that many animals experience during visits to a traditional veterinary clinic. Customer testimonials vividly illustrate this benefit. One client shared how Dr. Granville's presence for their 17-year-old cat's euthanasia allowed their beloved "Shadow" to spend "his last moments in his own environment in a calm, compassionate manner," an experience they described as "invaluable." Another client praised Dr. Granville for ensuring "a very comfortable visit," highlighting his ability to create a relaxed atmosphere.
In a home setting, pets are surrounded by their own sights, sounds, and scents, which naturally makes them more at ease and cooperative during examinations and procedures. This environment helps to reduce fear and allows for a more accurate assessment of their true demeanor. For pet owners, the convenience is unparalleled, eliminating the need for stressful car rides, navigating busy waiting rooms, or exposing their pets to other potentially ill animals. The home visit fosters a more relaxed and focused interaction with the veterinarian, facilitating clearer communication and a deeper understanding of the pet's daily life and behavioral patterns. This personalized, one-on-one attention, delivered within the sanctuary of your own home, creates a truly pet-centric veterinary experience that prioritizes comfort and peace of mind for both the animal and its family.
While the provided information highlights specific instances of care, a mobile veterinary practice like North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service typically offers a comprehensive range of essential and specialized services that can be effectively performed outside of a conventional clinic. Based on customer reviews and the typical scope of "Pet Hospitals" that provide mobile services, these likely include:
Compassionate In-Home Euthanasia: This is a profoundly important and frequently requested service for mobile veterinarians. As demonstrated by the heartfelt review for "Shadow," allowing pets to pass peacefully and with dignity in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, surrounded by their loved ones, is a deeply cherished option. Dr. Granville's compassion and gentleness during this emotional time are consistently praised.
Routine Wellness Exams and Vaccinations: Regular check-ups are foundational for preventive care. A mobile vet can perform thorough physical examinations, administer necessary vaccinations (such as rabies, distemper, and parvovirus for dogs; feline leukemia and FVRCP for cats), and provide tailored advice on nutrition, weight management, and parasite control, all within the convenience of the home. This is particularly advantageous for multi-pet households, elderly pets, or animals that become highly anxious during clinic visits.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Illnesses and Minor Injuries: For non-life-threatening conditions, a mobile veterinarian can assess and treat a variety of common ailments. This might involve evaluating skin conditions, ear infections, mild lameness, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal upsets, and administering appropriate medications or basic treatments on-site. The ability to observe the pet in its natural environment can often aid in diagnosis.
Geriatric and Palliative Care: Mobile veterinary services are exceptionally well-suited for senior pets, who may have chronic conditions or mobility challenges that make clinic visits difficult. They can provide ongoing management for age-related issues like arthritis, organ dysfunction, and cognitive decline, focusing on enhancing the pet's comfort and quality of life through comprehensive palliative care plans.
Preventative Consultations: Offering expert advice on topics such as flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, diet plans, and behavioral issues in a relaxed home setting. This allows for more personalized discussions free from the rush of a clinic environment.
Minor Procedures and Basic Grooming: Depending on the equipment carried, some mobile veterinarians can perform minor procedures that do not require general anesthesia or extensive sterile environments, such as nail trims, anal gland expressions, and basic wound care. This adds to the convenience for pet owners.
It's important for clients to understand that while comprehensive, mobile veterinary services generally have limitations. They typically do not perform complex surgeries, extensive diagnostic imaging (like X-rays or ultrasounds that require specialized, stationary equipment), or intensive hospitalization for critical conditions. In such cases, Dr. Granville would likely provide an initial assessment and then refer the pet to a full-service veterinary hospital or emergency clinic as appropriate, ensuring continuity of care.
North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service, with Dr. Granville at its helm, distinguishes itself through several compelling features that make it an invaluable choice for pet owners in the Attleboro area:
Unparalleled Convenience: The most striking feature is the service's direct-to-home model. This not only saves owners valuable time but also eliminates travel-related stress for pets, making it an ideal solution for multi-pet households, elderly owners, or those with transportation limitations. The ability to schedule veterinary visits at home significantly simplifies pet care logistics.
Exceptional Compassion and Understanding: Both customer reviews highlight Dr. Granville's remarkable compassion and understanding. His gentleness with pets and empathy towards grieving families, particularly during sensitive moments like euthanasia, are consistently praised as invaluable. This level of personalized, humane care extends beyond purely medical aspects.
Knowledgeable and Trustworthy Expertise: Dr. Granville is described as "knowledgeable," and his commitment to answering "all questions you may have before he leaves" underscores his dedication to client education and transparent communication. This approach builds significant trust, empowering clients to feel fully informed and confident in the care their pets receive.
Stress Reduction for Pets: By conducting examinations and treatments in the familiar and comforting environment of the pet's home, the service drastically minimizes the anxiety and fear that many animals associate with traditional clinic visits. This often leads to more accurate physical examinations and less traumatic experiences for the animal.
Personalized Attention: House calls allow for more extended and focused appointments compared to a typical clinic visit. Dr. Granville can observe the pet in its natural habitat, gaining unique insights into its behavior and environmental factors that might affect its health. This fosters a deeper bond between the veterinarian, pet, and owner.
Flexibility and Responsiveness: While the service operates within scheduled hours, the ability to respond to urgent needs, even on a holiday as noted in one review, demonstrates a degree of flexibility and dedication that sets it apart. The promptness of his response in an emergency situation was greatly appreciated.
The consistent positive feedback on Dr. Granville's demeanor, professionalism, and the overall experience underscores the high quality of personalized veterinary care that defines North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service.
For a mobile veterinary service like North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service, traditional mass marketing campaigns might be less impactful than the powerful force of client satisfaction and direct recommendations. Their primary "promotional" strength lies in the overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth referrals generated by exceptional customer experiences. The unique benefits of at-home care are inherent selling points that resonate deeply with pet owners.
Key aspects of their promotional information and value proposition include:
Focus on Comfort and Stress-Free Visits: This is a central differentiator and a major draw for pet owners. The promise of a "comfortable visit" where the pet feels "at peace" is a compelling value proposition that directly addresses common anxieties associated with vet visits.
Reasonable Pricing for Unmatched Convenience and Compassion: The review specifically highlighting the "extremely reasonable" pricing for a holiday home emergency euthanasia visit demonstrates that despite the specialized nature and added convenience of a mobile service, the cost remains accessible. This helps to overcome the perception that mobile veterinary care might be prohibitively expensive.
Powerful Client Testimonials and Recommendations: Both customer reviews conclude with emphatic recommendations ("I would absolutely recommend him," "I would highly recommend him and will be calling him again"). These authentic endorsements are invaluable for building trust and attracting new clients who are seeking reliable and compassionate care.
Direct and Easy Accessibility: The readily available phone and mobile numbers, (508) 223-7680 and +1 508-223-7680, ensure that potential clients can easily reach Dr. Granville and inquire about services or schedule appointments.
Targeted Appeal to Specific Needs: While not explicitly advertised, the service naturally appeals to a specific segment of pet owners: those with anxious or fearful pets, individuals with limited transportation, multi-pet households seeking efficiency, or owners who prioritize a more personalized and less stressful veterinary experience, especially during challenging end-of-life decisions.
In essence, North Attleboro Mobile Veterinary Service's growth and reputation are fueled by the genuine positive experiences of its clients. The exceptional, personalized service provided by Dr. Granville, particularly during highly emotional and critical moments, cultivates deep loyalty and trust. This dedication to outstanding patient and client care serves as the most effective form of promotion, making happy clients their strongest advocates.

Feb 16, 2024 · Denise KlangI never leave reviews but was so upset that I needed to. My 16 year old dog injured her leg and is in a lot of pain. My regular vet wouldn’t refill her pain medications without seeing her. She gets so stressed at the vet that I didn’t want to put her through that plus I didn’t want to lift her in and out of that car and risk injuring her more. I found this traveling vet that even states on website that travels for the comfort of animals who have anxiety in a regular vet sitting. I talked to him a couple of days ago and scheduled an appointment. I gave my address and talked about the reason I wanted her seen. He called me 40mins before my appointment saying I was too far away and he didn’t want to travel that far just to write a prescription. He knew where I lived when I booked it and he would have made around $200. I have never seen someone so unprofessional in my life. Now I have to get her seen somewhere else and she’s out of medications. I wish I knew this days ago.

Sep 27, 2024 · Jenna WhitemanI was absolutely blown away by Dr Granville’s kindness and understanding. I called him late afternoon on Saturday. He came to our home Sunday morning and took great care of our male Orange Tabby Cat. Within a couple minutes he diagnosed him and had all the medication with him. A kind gentleman for sure. Our fur baby is now on the mend. It’s super cold this weekend. The fact that he came during this weather says a lot. We highly recommend Dr Granville, an absolute pleasure!
