Dr. Barkley is hands down the best vet we’ve ever been to. Spent over 2 hours today with our dog Rose and dug deep to find the root of her sudden health issues. We came from a nearby vet who put forth 10% of the energy Dr. Barkley did. Not only was the team here SUBSTANTIALLY better and more caring, but the cost here is also far below what the other vet was charging us. Seriously, if you’re looking for somewhere to take your pup, then this is the only place to go!

Its the most convenient vet to us, but the front desk person has no grace or compassion towards the clients or pets. We finally had enough this morning. We missed their 10 minute cancel policy by 1 minute (after they called and we told them how close we were). I think most people would have seen the person in front of them and at least considered giving some grace. Not that guy, and this was just the latest instance. Life is too short to deal with a business where the policy is more important than the client.

I adore Normandy Animal Hospital! I started taking my kitty Poptart here after I adopted him from Burien CARES. Dr. Barkley is kind, thorough, and provides exceptional care. After my kitty had a urinary blockage Dr. Barkley provided great follow-up recommendations and helped put my mind at ease. I've found it easy to make appointments over the phone or using their app, and I've also been able to get tech appointments same or next day. Their online pharmacy is also easy to order from. I also really admire that this practice partners with our local shelter, Burien CARES. From what I understand, the veterinarians regularly spay/neuter and provide care for the shelter animals. How awesome!

Normandy was suggested after my vet of 13 years provided poor service. She confirmed 2 significant health issues and explained in detail what was happening and how to proceed. I felt she truly cared about the health of my dog and felt no time pressure.

Knowledgeable staff, explain every option and detail in full. You know exactly what is happening with your loved one. They have excellent communication and have followed up consistently. The team here is incredible and I can’t thank them enough for the care and concern they have provided every step of the way.
