Nokesville Veterinary Clinic spayed our mini Goldendoodle and we were very happy with the experience. It was reassuring that they gave us updates and noticed a baby tooth that needed to be extracted. It was much easier for everyone to get the tooth extracted while she was there for the spay. Thank you NVC!

Feb 20, 2024 · Georgette Tsongos Lotus PhotographyI and my husband have been a client of Dr. Swanson for at least 30 years. My husband passed away in 2015 and I have lived alone with the 3 dachshund dogs we bought when they were 8 weeks old. We began bringing our dachshund’s to you when your office was across from Jimmy Phillips. Remember the lady who bought the cat in she found on the side of the road. It was injured and very sick looking. You were sooooooooooooooo Mad 😡 saying why do all these people bring these road animals in…”Who’s going to pay for the work I have to do” One dog passed about 3 years ago due to kidney failure and I still enjoy the company of the 2 females. They are about 12 years old and recently they became ill with a “coughing wheezing” sound and have trouble breathing. Overnight they turned from active happy dogs into barely eating or moving around. Now on a very limited income I called Dr. Swanson and asked if he would do a health check on my dogs but I could not afford to pay for it. He refused and I understand that. He wants to be paid for the service he renders. A 30 year client may have been offered a payment option from someone with a heart ❤️ . I could not have been more disappointed. I’ve always felt you had a cold heart ❤️ BUT NOW I KNOW!!!!!
May 16, 2024 · Yvonne VicariTwo weeks ago, we had our little foster dog neutered at Nokesville Veterinary Clinic. We are very happy with the level of care our little guy received, evidenced by his speedy recovery. Communication with the office (Cheryl) was outstanding, and the prices for services were very fair. Many private vet offices have been bought out by veterinary chains, and the focus of these chains is making money by upselling products and services. It was refreshing to find a vet who is independent and not beholden to a corporate office. I believe that the independence of this practice is one of the reasons we had such a pleasant experience. In addition, unlike other vet offices that tell everyone to drop off at one specific time and pick up late in the day at one specific time, Cheryl offered some flexibility for drop off, and she told me we could pick up our dog as soon as he was deemed ready to go home. We really appreciated the fact that each patient was considered individually. If you want frills and upselling, this isn't the place for you. If you want competent care in a patient/client friendly environment, we highly recommend this practice.

Oct 13, 2024 · Enes ElDr. Swanson is an excellent doctor. He has performed several surgeries on my dog and did a great job. He has a lot of experience and is very bright. He is an amazing veterinarian. I would highly recommend him! His assistant, Cheryl, is also very knowledgeable and professional. She can answer a lot of your medical questions about your dogs or cats. I don't know what I would do without Dr. Mark Swanson to care for my 2 dogs who have continual health issues. He is a cut above the rest!!
