I have been taking my animals to NOAH for 15 years or more and would have left a wonderful review until today. I called to try to get my dog in for an issue she is having and they said I am not in the computer at all because I haven't been there in a couple years. Umm, so where are all of her records?!? Just gone?? She's been going there for 11 years. She said they aren't accepting new patients...she's not new!!! So all of her records are just gone now?!? I trusted them with information and now it's just gone? What about shot records etc... Not happy

Welcome to NOAH Pet Clinic

Welcome local pet owners to your comprehensive guide to NOAH Pet Clinic, a facility categorized as a Pet Hospital located at 2502 State Rte 113 E, Milan, OH 44846, USA. Understanding the needs of your beloved animal companions is paramount, and choosing the right veterinary care provider is a crucial decision. This introduction aims to provide you with an objective overview of NOAH Pet Clinic based on publicly available information, allowing you to make informed choices regarding your pet's health and well-being.

As a local Pet Hospital, NOAH Pet Clinic is positioned to offer a range of services typically associated with such facilities. These services generally encompass preventative care, diagnostics, medical treatments, and surgical procedures for various types of pets. The physical environment of a pet hospital is designed to be both clean and functional, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for examinations, treatments, and recovery. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance, such as waiting areas, examination rooms, and specialized treatment spaces, are not explicitly available online, a standard expectation for a pet hospital is a professional and hygienic setting conducive to quality medical care.

The services offered at a pet hospital like NOAH Pet Clinic typically include routine check-ups and vaccinations, which are essential for maintaining your pet's long-term health and preventing common diseases. Diagnostic services often involve laboratory testing (such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams), imaging techniques (like X-rays), and other procedures to identify the underlying causes of illness or injury. For medical treatments, the clinic would likely provide care for a wide array of conditions, ranging from minor ailments to more complex internal medicine issues. Surgical capabilities can vary, but often include routine surgeries like spaying and neutering, as well as more specialized procedures depending on the expertise of the veterinary staff and the available equipment.

Features of a pet hospital often include a team of qualified veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are trained to provide professional and compassionate care. Access to medical records is also a standard feature, allowing for continuity of care and tracking of your pet's health history. Emergency services may or may not be offered directly at the clinic, but established protocols for handling urgent situations and referrals to emergency facilities are usually in place. The availability of specialized equipment for diagnostics and treatments can also be a key feature of a well-equipped pet hospital.

While specific promotional information for NOAH Pet Clinic is not available in the provided data, pet hospitals often engage in community outreach, offer seasonal specials on preventative care (such as vaccinations or flea and tick prevention), or provide introductory offers for new clients. However, it is important to consider all available information when making a decision about your pet's care. The provided reviews from individuals who identify themselves as past clients raise some significant concerns. One review expresses disappointment regarding the apparent loss of their pet's 11-year medical records and the refusal to see their dog for a current issue, citing a policy of not accepting new patients despite the pet being a long-term client. This raises questions about the clinic's record-keeping practices and their policies regarding returning clients.

Another review details a distressing experience where the clinic allegedly refused to allow the owner to be present for their cat's euthanasia procedure, citing a policy related to clients who haven't been seen within the last three years. The reviewer also claims that the clinic refused to schedule a second opinion appointment. This feedback highlights potential concerns about the clinic's communication, empathy, and policies regarding end-of-life care and client relationships.

These reviews, while representing individual experiences, should be taken into consideration alongside the general understanding of what a Pet Hospital typically offers. It is recommended that local users who are considering NOAH Pet Clinic for their pet's care reach out to the clinic directly to discuss their specific needs and to understand the clinic's current policies and procedures. Asking about their record-keeping practices, appointment scheduling for both new and returning clients, and their approach to sensitive procedures can provide valuable insights.

Furthermore, exploring other local veterinary options and seeking recommendations from fellow pet owners in the Milan, Ohio area can contribute to a well-rounded decision-making process. Visiting the clinic in person, if possible, may also allow you to assess the environment and interact with the staff firsthand. While online information provides a starting point, direct communication and, when feasible, a physical visit can offer a more comprehensive understanding of the services and care provided at NOAH Pet Clinic.

In conclusion, NOAH Pet Clinic, as a Pet Hospital in Milan, Ohio, is positioned to offer a range of veterinary services for local pet owners. While specific details about their environment, comprehensive service list, and current promotions require direct inquiry, the provided customer reviews highlight important considerations regarding their client policies and communication practices. Local users are encouraged to weigh all available information, including these reviews, and to directly engage with the clinic to determine if it meets their individual pet care needs and expectations. Ensuring open communication and a clear understanding of the clinic's policies will contribute to a positive and trusting relationship with your chosen veterinary care provider.

I called to see if I could bring my cat in. She needed to be put down..."NOAH" PET clinic wouldn't allow us to be present for the process. They only would accept a "drop off" where I drop my loving pet off at noon, the doc comes in at 1 and does it. We are not allowed to be present. Why, I asked. I was told with Stone cold cynicism and zero empathy or compassion that we haven't been a patient of theirs within the last 3 years, so they won't accept it. I asked if they will schedule her for a 2nd opinion appointment to see if there's anything they can do and she refused to schedule me, again stating "we aren't taking on any new patients at this time." ---so sad, a vet I took my pets to for over 30 years , attempting to even support a small town business as a born & raised Milan resident, Rip Critter Croft. Screw you NOAH

Although they may not be taking new clients at the moment due to a small vet staff, the team here is wonderful and has always taken care of our animals. They do offer grooming now, which you can access without being a current client.

We had to put our 14 year old dog down. I called and explained that due to covid our current vet which we love couldn't allow me to be with my pet while she was put down. So I called around trying to find a vet that would allow me to be with her. I called NOAH'S milan office and the lady I spoke to was incredibly insensitive. I told her our situation she interrupted me saying let me stop you there, we aren't accepting new patients so I cant help you. During an incredibly emotional time kindness goes a long way. Instead of saying I'm sorry or even offer a different option I might have she was rude. Again kindness goes a long way.

The staff at Noah Pet Clinic is very helpful and nice. They treat each animal as if it were there own and suggest treatment options in the same manner.
