The strong loyalty shown by clients, some even following specific veterinarians like Dr. Caldwell, speaks volumes about the quality of care and the trust they inspire.
The environment at New Stanton Veterinary Service is consistently praised for being welcoming, clean, and comfortable, creating a positive atmosphere for both pets and their owners. Reviews specifically mention a "very nice location" and a "clean great atmosphere," suggesting that attention has been paid to creating a pleasant space. Key aspects of their environment likely include:
- Welcoming Reception Area: A friendly and organized front desk is crucial for a smooth check-in and check-out process, and the "kind and thoughtful" staff contribute significantly to this initial impression.
- Clean and Well-Maintained Facilities: For a veterinary practice, cleanliness is paramount for hygiene and to reduce the spread of illness. The mention of a "clean" atmosphere directly addresses this.
- Comfortable Exam Rooms: These rooms are designed to be safe and calming for pets during examinations, with adequate space for both the animal and their owner.
- Dedicated Treatment Areas: Beyond exam rooms, a full-service hospital would have specialized areas for diagnostics, surgery, and hospitalized patients, all maintained to high clinical standards.
- Pet-Friendly Ambiance: While not explicitly detailed, a "great atmosphere" for pets implies efforts to minimize stress, perhaps through calm lighting, separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, or thoughtful design that considers an animal's sensory experience. The review mentioning "Thaddeus was excited, except for his vaccines/shot" suggests a generally positive environment where even a pet receiving an injection felt relatively at ease.
The overall impression conveyed is one of a professional yet genuinely caring environment where the comfort and well-being of the animal are prioritized.

- Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services, including professional cleanings (scaling and polishing), extractions, and oral health assessments, crucial for preventing periodontal disease and associated systemic health issues.
- Soft Tissue Surgery: Common surgical procedures such as spaying, neutering, mass removals, wound repair, and other general surgeries, performed with careful anesthesia monitoring.

- Digital Radiography (X-rays): For imaging bones, organs, and identifying internal issues.
- Ultrasound: For more detailed imaging of soft tissues and organs (may be performed in-house or via referral to a specialist).
- Pain Management: Strategies for managing acute and chronic pain, utilizing medications, and potentially recommending complementary therapies.
- Microchipping: A vital service for permanent identification, greatly increasing the chances of reuniting lost pets with their families.
- Nutritional Counseling: Guidance on appropriate diets for pets of all ages and health conditions, including weight management programs.
- Parasite Prevention and Control: Recommendations and prescriptions for flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite prevention.
- Senior Pet Care: Tailored wellness plans for aging pets, focusing on early detection and management of age-related conditions like arthritis, organ dysfunction, and cognitive decline.
- Urgent Care: While not an emergency 24/7 clinic, they would typically accommodate urgent cases during regular business hours, providing initial assessment and stabilization, and referring to emergency hospitals for after-hours or highly specialized care.

Mar 07, 2025 · Jennifer JendrasikThey care about every animal and care for them like it’s their own. I have never had a bad experience here.
Mar 24, 2025 · Matt FOn August 26, I had to make the terrible decision to let my 19 year old cat, Katie go. I called my vet and another vet and both had 2 week wait times. I called New Stanton and they took her that day. I was greeted by the vet tech, Ashley who was so kind. Dr. Snyder came in. We discussed everything. She let me make the decision and explained what would happen. The kindness and compassion shown by both of them was so appreciated. My husband and I got to hold her and, through our tears, say goodbye. We all knew that was the right thing to do. I cannot thank them enough for all they did with helping my Katie cross the Rainbow Bridge. She's at peace now.
