The staff are amazing. Last month I had to put my dog Cooper down and they have an amazing inviting room set up. The experience was like being at home and although it was hard on my boys and me loosing Cooper, we had privacy and each step the staff was there.

Sep 06, 2024 · Renata KenickThe staff here is very caring. We chose this hospital for euthanasia of our beloved dog, Missy. They have a separate area just for this purpose. They made a very difficult time as peaceful and stress free as they could. There is also a seperate exit from this area, so you can leave in private and not face other pets or people. I highly reccomend this facility.
Jan 08, 2025 · Wendy FritzIn November, Dr. Morgen and her Medical Assistant, Kari provided our very ill 14 year old cat an excellent medical care! Dr. Mogen provided me a prognosis that my wife and I agreed and were prepared. It was time for our Cali Cat to go to heaven. My sincere gratitude for the professional and compassionate handling of our dear Cali! I highly recommend New River Veterinary Hospital be considered for all of your animal needs. Dec 02, 2024 · Laura CummingsWalked in today with my pup wrapped up in a towel bleeding. I was told, basically to get lost and go to anthem. I was asked if my pup was a "client".... to which i said no, So i walked out , very upset, but now the question is... had he been a"client", would they have taken that 3 minutes to look at my pup ?? Regardless, i read wonderful reviews, but for me, when given the answer that they don't have enough staff, that tells me that they are too cheap to pay people to help animals in need. Disappointed, and will cross off this so called great vet off of my list.
Jul 20, 2024 · jerome ringlandI recently had to put my beautiful himalayan cat to sleep and I was devastated. I've never had to do that before. I was not a current "patient" with NR Vet, but the wonderful staff there worked with me to schedule in home euthanasia. I could barely hold it together every time I spoke to them, but everyone was so compassionate through the whole process. I really didn't expect the level of care and outcome I received, but my baby is back home with me now forever. It's hard to believe 13 1/2 years of love is in this small box, but I will cherish it forever.
