Caring Hands Hospital certainly lived up to their name. I brought my female miniature schnauzer, Misty, into their facility tonight. Misty was listless, weak and didn't want to go for walks during this past week. I thought it was arthritis, after all she is, was 13.5 years old, about 95 in our years. The doctor suggest diagnostics of blood and an x-ray. I couldn't afford both, so we opted for an x-ray. The x-ray showed advanced liver cancer. Misty never whimpered or yelped; she never told me she was in pain. I had to give her up to doggie heaven tonight. The Caring Hands doctor and her team were so caring and gentle with Misty and me. They had a room set aside for me to spend our last minutes together. They gave her a shot to lessen her pain. The room had a poem about dogs, a couch, and water therapy flowing. They provided options on how Misty's remains were to be handled and really made this unexpected ordeal relativity painless for both of us. I highly recommend this place. I will take my male miniature schnauzer to them from now on.
