They took absolute incredible care of my Jasmine. She had been very sick for days and wasn’t eating and they fit me in same day. She’s a little thing and was very attached to me and getting as close as she could during her exam but they were so so gentle and loving to my girl. When they had to take her back for further treatment she barely let go of me but came back and had fallen in love with the vet tech and wouldn’t let go of her. I would highly recommend Mt Pleasant Vet Clinic to anyone. They took all of my fears and worries into consideration and even helped me make a plan that was within budget and would still help my baby. I’m beyond impressed and will definitely be bringer her brother by for his wellness exam. Updated to add: unfortunately a month after this we had to put our sweet girl down. I will always and forever recommend Mt Pleasant vet for how much they cared for us during this incredibly sensitive time. They were so gentle with me, answered all of my questions, and gave me space and time to be with her before, during, and after her last moment. The Vet took extra time with us to talk about our girl and all of her favorite things and her sweet personality. It’s been over 8 months and the wound of losing her is still so strong but I’ll never forget the way this office cared for us. We’re customers for life

Jan 03, 2025 · Cheyenne BakerDr. Boland and Dr. Darden are both amazing! They have been seeing my cats (Oscar and Wilde) for a few years now. They’re both easy to talk to and answer any questions or concerns. Honestly, all the staff at Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Clinic are really friendly and caring.
Dec 07, 2024 · Stephanie RossTeam is great. We can't afford to bring our pet here too often. I am sure every vet has gone up on their prices. Originally $600 but we went through the plan and got it down to $ 185. We did not get all the tests they recommended. Did not feel.they were all necessary.
Apr 05, 2025 · Rachel PipisI never expected to write a review like this for a place my family has loyally trusted for the care of our pets for the last 20 years. Unfortunately, our recent experience with Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Clinic during the end of life care of our beloved 17 year old dog has left us deeply disappointed. On 12/17/2024, I reached out to the clinic to discuss our dog’s declining health and ask questions about their procedures. Instead of offering compassionate guidance or alternatives, the front desk insisted that I bring our pet in for an assessment, even though she was already on pain medication and we didn’t want to stress her further. On 12/19/2024, with our dog’s condition worsening, I called again just before 5 pm. The clinic was open until 6 pm that evening. The soonest appointment available was 12/20/2024 at 8 am. While we scheduled that appointment, we also contacted Dr. Tom Woods, a traveling vet who makes house calls. He was available to help our dog pass peacefully at home. I immediately called Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Clinic back to cancel our appointment, and the receptionist’s only response was a cold acknowledgment of the cancellation, followed by a detached “I hope you have a great night”. In a moment of deep grief, the lack of empathy was jarring. This was not the supportive, compassionate care we had come to expect over the years. When I later picked up our dog’s ashes, I shared my concerns with the lead front desk receptionist. While she did offer her condolences, the entire experience felt more transactional than personal. There was no sympathy card, which was especially hurtful considering we had received one when our cat passed earlier in the year. The situation leaves me questioning whether the changes at the clinic, whether in staffing or ownership, impacted the care and empathy they offer to the long-time clients. For the past 15 years, our dog was a patient here, and it’s disheartening to feel as though her passing was treated with indifference. We’ve have always valued the care Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Clinic provided to our pets, but after this experience, I’m not sure I can trust them with our future pet’s needs.
Jan 04, 2025 · Susan TovarI woke up on a Saturday to my dog limping and found that he had a split toenail and it was very painful. I called my regular vet, which was closed, and called around to a few other places locally that were also closed. I found Mt. Pleasant’s info and gave them a call. Savannah answered the phone and was calm and pleasant, which helped me to feel calm in a panicked situation. She was helpful and kind and told me to come in! Hunter was the nurse and he did an excellent job handling my dog, was knowledgeable and very kind and understanding! Dr. Kenyon came in and showed the utmost compassion to my baby and explained everything thoroughly and didn’t push me to do anything unnecessary. I was worked in but they got my dog’s nail all fixed up in record timing. The bill was very affordable and my sweet boy has been feeling so much better!! I am so grateful for their availability and commitment during my time of need!
