If I could give this place 0 Stars, I would. I just came in with my working dog who had injured his paw on a hike. The grumpy old man (I'm assuming he's the original vet/owner) essentially ran us out of there in between yelling at his receptionist. He said that since my dog had been barking in the treatment room, it wasn't worth him getting potentially bit to take a look at it...ummm, isn't that always a risk when working as a veterinarian? Every other dog in the back was barking...I am fully capable of holding my dog down if you ask professionally, which he did not. Either way, this place has great reviews- I just didn't get that feeling at all when I was there. Additionally, they are not taking on new clients, so don't even bother going if you aren't part of the "in crowd" with them. I rarely leave a negative feedback anywhere, but this "doctor's" attitude absolutely sucked bad enough to motivate me to write this.

After bringing 3 pets to them over the past 2 years, we tried to get one of our dogs in for an exam due to an ear infection & they refused to see him because they claimed he was out of date on vaccinations. I said we get those elsewhere but needed the Dr. to look at his ears. The woman who answered the phone said they need to do all care or won't do any of it then hung up on me. We've spent over $1000++ with them at this point & we will no longer. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I love Dr. Clariday! He’s always very helpful with my two pugs. He is very responsive to me and informational about what to do with my dogs. Will continue to use him and my family has used him for atleast 10+ years.

Dr. Clariday is great. When we moved to TN we lived in Providence for awhile. The closest place was the animal hospital on Belinda Pkwy so I took my girls there for all their needs. When my very large puppy (Caucasian Ovcharka) got diarrhea, I took her there, she was seen, tests were taken, meds were prescribed and I left about $430 later. We moved again and I found this place. 1 year after the original bout with the runs, Brutus got them again. I called Dr. C and he suggested some Imodium (the over-the-counter stuff that is definately NOT $400) for the diarrhea and said if it doesn't get better within a couple days to bring her in. He also knows that an office visit (aka $) every 3 months for my bullhuahuas allergies isn't necessary. He prescribes her pills and says as long as everything is still good, he only needs to see her for her annual check-up. Dr. Clariday is very pleasant, knowledgable, helpful, informative, and willing to take the time to listen, explain, educate, and suggest. Will continue to take all my girls here and recommend to anybody and everybody. It's nice to know there are people still in business to care for animals and their people, not to take advantage of open hearts and wallets.

In the 14 years I have been in Mount Juliet, I've never come across a more caring, understanding, knowledge, no nonsense animal doctor than Dr. Clariday. He is on top of things to the point that we had to take our dog to the emergency vet overnight- I woke to a message from Dr. Clariday checking in on our dog to go over what had happened. Most times when I call the office, he will get on the phone with me to discuss. I'll never go to anyone else!
