He killed 2 of my dogs by being careless and not taking the proper steps. My one dog is now seeing a new vet and is hanging on for his life becsuse this doctor ignored all the sign and symptoms. Please do not go to this vet if you care about your pet go somewhere else!!!!!

Welcome to Mobile Veterinary Services: Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A.
For pet owners in Mine Hill Township, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas, Mobile Veterinary Services: Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A., located at 265 US-46, offers a unique approach to pet care as a "Pet Hospital" that comes directly to your doorstep. This mobile veterinary practice provides a range of services, bringing medical care, and potentially goods, to the comfort and convenience of your home. Understanding the scope and quality of these services is crucial for local users seeking veterinary care.
As a "Pet Hospital" operating on a mobile basis, the services offered by Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A. likely encompass many of the essential aspects of traditional veterinary care, delivered in a mobile unit or within the pet owner's home. These could include routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, management of chronic conditions, and potentially certain types of diagnostic testing that can be performed on-site or through sample collection for external labs. Mobile veterinary services are particularly beneficial for pets that experience anxiety during travel, owners with limited mobility or transportation challenges, or those who prefer the convenience of at-home care.
One of the provided customer reviews expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the services received from Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A. The reviewer claims that the doctor is primarily concerned with financial gain and alleges that their carelessness led to the death of two of their dogs. They further state that a third dog is currently critically ill due to the doctor's alleged negligence in recognizing and addressing symptoms. This review strongly advises other pet owners to avoid this veterinary service if they care about their pets' well-being. This feedback raises significant concerns about the quality of care and professional conduct reported by this particular customer.
In contrast, the second customer review offers a completely different perspective, praising "Dr. Kris and Dr. Andrea" as "the best of the best" and describing them as "kind and compassionate." This reviewer specifically thanks them for their care of their pet, Cappy, until the end of its life. This suggests that the practice may have multiple veterinarians, and this particular experience highlights positive aspects such as kindness and compassion, especially in sensitive situations like end-of-life care.
Given the starkly contrasting nature of these two reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of the overall environment and service quality of Mobile Veterinary Services: Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A. The negative review raises serious allegations that potential clients should be aware of and consider carefully. The positive review, on the other hand, indicates that some clients have experienced compassionate and high-quality care, particularly with Dr. Kris and Dr. Andrea.
Features of a mobile veterinary service like this typically include the convenience of at-home appointments, potentially reducing stress for pets and owners associated with travel to a clinic. Mobile units are often equipped to perform a range of diagnostic and treatment procedures. The focus on in-home care can also allow for a more personalized and less rushed interaction between the veterinarian, the pet, and the owner. However, the limitations of a mobile setup might mean that certain advanced diagnostic procedures or surgical interventions may still require a referral to a traditional veterinary hospital.
Promotional information is not provided in the given reviews. Mobile veterinary services might offer initial consultation discounts, package deals for routine services like vaccinations, or specific promotions for certain times of the year. To inquire about any current promotions or the full range of services offered by Mobile Veterinary Services: Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A., it is essential to contact them directly at (973) 328-7112 or +1 973-328-7112. Potential clients may also want to ask about the qualifications and experience of all the veterinarians associated with the practice, including Dr. Steven B. Hodes, Dr. Kris, and Dr. Andrea, to make a more informed decision based on their individual needs and concerns.
In conclusion, Mobile Veterinary Services: Steven B. Hodes D.V.M., P.A. in Mine Hill Township, NJ, offers the convenience of a "Pet Hospital" that comes to your home. However, the limited customer feedback presents a mixed and concerning picture. One review alleges severe negligence and a focus on profit over patient care, while another praises the kindness and compassion of Dr. Kris and Dr. Andrea, particularly in end-of-life care. Local users considering this mobile veterinary service should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences. It is strongly recommended to contact the practice directly to discuss their services, the qualifications of their veterinarians, and to address any concerns arising from the negative review before entrusting them with the care of their beloved pets. Seeking additional references or testimonials might also be prudent to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the quality of care provided by this mobile veterinary service.
