Dr. Cauble and his tech were so kind and gentle with my 17 year old scaredy cat and I can't overstate that enough. They arrived within an hour of making the appointment. Is it expensive? A little - but honestly, vet prices everywhere have gone up. The total price of the at home visit was only a couple hundred more than our usual vet (if that). The peace of mind of having everything done right in front of us, the speed of being seen, the transparency and thoughtfulness was worth every penny in my opinion. Your pet is the only one they are focused on and they show and explain to you everything they are doing and why. 10/10 experience if you have an animal that you're worried about and you're afraid that taking them to the vet might be more stressful to them- please contact Dr. Cauble and his team.

Understanding the unique bond you share with your animal companions, Mobile Vet prioritizes their well-being and your peace of mind by offering personalized attention and comprehensive medical care in a familiar and less anxiety-inducing environment.
At Mobile Vet, the environment is defined by convenience, comfort, and a focus on your pet's individual needs. Unlike a bustling clinic with multiple patients and unfamiliar surroundings, Mobile Vet transforms your home into a calm and reassuring space for veterinary care. This is particularly beneficial for pets who experience anxiety during travel or in waiting rooms, senior pets with mobility issues, or multi-pet households where transporting all animals can be challenging. The personalized attention ensures that your pet receives focused care without the potential stressors of a traditional veterinary setting. The team, as highlighted by a satisfied customer, is "kind and gentle," especially with scared or older animals, emphasizing a patient-centric approach that prioritizes your pet's emotional well-being alongside their physical health.
Mobile Vet offers a wide range of essential veterinary services to cater to your pet's diverse health needs. While specific details of all services might require direct confirmation with Mobile Vet, based on general veterinary practices and the positive customer feedback, you can likely expect the following:
Comprehensive Wellness Exams: Regular check-ups are crucial for maintaining your pet's health and detecting potential issues early. Mobile Vet can conduct thorough physical examinations in your home, assessing everything from their coat and skin to their heart and lungs.
Vaccinations: Protecting your pet from preventable diseases is paramount. Mobile Vet can administer necessary vaccinations, tailored to your pet's age, lifestyle, and local disease risks.
Parasite Prevention and Control: Fleas, ticks, and heartworms can pose significant health risks to your pets. Mobile Vet can provide effective preventative medications and treatment options.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Illnesses: Whether your pet is experiencing a sudden illness or a chronic condition, Mobile Vet is equipped to diagnose and treat a variety of medical issues. While advanced surgical procedures might still require a traditional hospital setting, Mobile Vet can handle many common ailments and provide initial stabilization and care.
Senior Pet Care: As pets age, they often require specialized care. Mobile Vet understands the unique needs of senior animals, including pain management, mobility support, and addressing age-related health concerns. The ability to provide care at home is particularly advantageous for senior pets with limited mobility, as noted by a customer seeking home visits for their senior Rottweiler.
End-of-Life Care and Euthanasia: Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy. Mobile Vet offers compassionate and dignified end-of-life care in the familiar surroundings of your home, providing comfort and peace for both you and your pet during this difficult time.
Minor Procedures and Treatments: Depending on the specific capabilities of Mobile Vet, they may also offer minor procedures and treatments that can be conveniently performed at home.
Client Education and Support: A crucial aspect of veterinary care is empowering pet owners to make informed decisions about their pet's health. Mobile Vet likely provides clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care measures, fostering a strong partnership between the veterinarian and the pet owner, as highlighted by the customer who appreciated the transparency and explanations.
The features of Mobile Vet set it apart as a convenient and considerate option for pet owners. The primary feature is, of course, the mobile nature of the service, bringing veterinary expertise directly to your doorstep. This eliminates travel time and stress for both you and your pet. The personalized attention your pet receives in a one-on-one setting is another significant advantage. With no other patients to attend to simultaneously, the veterinarian can focus entirely on your animal's needs and your concerns. The emphasis on reducing pet anxiety is a core feature, making veterinary care a more positive experience for nervous or fearful animals. The transparency and communication, as praised in the reviews, ensure that you are fully involved in your pet's care, understanding the procedures and the reasoning behind them. The convenience and time-saving aspect for busy pet owners cannot be overstated.
Regarding promotional information, while specific current promotions are not provided in the given data, the positive reviews themselves act as strong testimonials. Potential promotional aspects that Mobile Vet might consider or currently offer could include:
First-time client discounts: Offering a reduced rate for initial home visits could attract new clients.
Multi-pet discounts: For households with multiple animals, offering a discount for examining or treating more than one pet during the same visit could be appealing.
Seasonal promotions: Offering discounts on specific services during certain times of the year (e.g., dental cleaning month, senior pet health month).
Referral programs: Encouraging existing clients to refer new ones by offering a discount or credit for successful referrals.
Package deals: Bundling common services like wellness exams, vaccinations, and parasite prevention into a cost-effective package.

Sep 10, 2024 · K.C HCalled to get rates. My senior Rottie (who weighs in at about 120lbs right now) is going to need home vet visits as she approaches the end of her wonderful years as my baby girl. This mobile vet’s rates for their professional service are completely reasonable. Travel time is excluded (which is expected, electricians & plumbers expect to be paid for travel time so yes I’d expect a DVM to bill the same). Very polite, quick call back. A mobile vet with some kind of bargain basement pricing is not what I’m looking for. I’ll look for discounts for hair/nails etc not the life of my best fur girl.
Jul 19, 2021 · Monica BeauchampDr.Cauble is great. I was having a lot of trouble finding someone to come see my guinea pig on short notice, but he was here within 2 hours of calling. He worked fast and gave me all the information I needed to make sure my pets are healthy.
Aug 11, 2022 · Carmen CorveraOn October 4, 2021, I called for an emergency check up on my 9 year old English Sheepdog. Prior to calling, she had been limping significantly with obvious pain. Having used your services before to have another dog of mine end her suffering, which you did with lovingly care and understanding, I knew who to contact in this case. When I called, I was told by your office that you would be unable to see my dog due to being booked. As I consider my pets my children, I expressed if there was anyway that the Dr. could see her. After being put on hold, I was told for a travel fee of $700.00, the Dr. would be able to see her. I agreed and had no hesitation to pay the fee quoted. The Dr. came. Did the examination. And I was pleased to know that it was just a sprain. Medication was prescribed. The Dr. left and a young lady stayed to review the services and fee. The travel fee changed from $700.00 to $1,100.00 and the medication, glycoglex and carprovet, was an additional $350.00 plus. At that time, I did not question the high cost. My girl was my priority. Now that my girl is older, I decided to seek Mobile Vet services, just in case. When I saw your listing, it took me back to October 4, 2021. I am in no means criticizing your expertise. You have demonstrated that you are highly qualified. I just do not want you to forget the ethical part of your services. I live in Silverlake and I question, were you justifiable in charging a $1,100.00 travel fee? Again, I am not disgruntled, as it may be interpreted I am. I just do not want you to do this to anyone else. It isn’t right. M. Villegas
Feb 21, 2023 · michael villegasJust called this vet at the recommendation of another. I wanted a quote for their visit fee. Just in case anyone else is looking, it's $90 just for the drive (from glendale to studio city), and then $95 for every 15 minutes of the visit (that's not a typo), and all services beyond just looking at the pet are extra. Maybe I'm missing something, but this is absolutely insane pricing to me. Not only that but the receptionist was flippant when I asked her to clarify that the $95 was per 15 minutes. I'm trying to find a vet because my dog is very fearful and I'm having a hard time sending her into the vet alone, but this is highway robbery. *To address the response below: The examination is the doctor's expert time. This is semantic pedantry. $90 for a 10-15 minute drive is absurd, as is $95 for each 15 minutes of time. There was no doubt about those being the charges, as that's what I was told on the phone. This is just a warning for any other pet parents who might be looking for a mobile vet. There are more reasonably priced experts available in the area.
