It has taken me a while to write this review because we have been accommodating a recovering cat for the last few weeks. This place saved my cats life. When I went to the emergency vet the day prior to the surgery, I was faced with the option of doing an outrageously priced surgery or putting her down. The only other option was to find a cheaper surgery at a local clinic, and Mission was it. I arrived prior to opening after having a few sleepless nights and my emotions were pretty raw. The staff was able to handle a lot bright and early despite the tense vibes of humans bringing their pets for varying degrees of needs. Maybe they're used to it but it was noticed how the front desk had the ability to triage and multitask. I am so thoroughly impressed, the surgery was done at a fraction of the cost. Given what I know now, I would just start here if I can! But an emergency is an emergency and grateful for all veterinary care, it's been a difficult few years of need! The skill-set this place has is remarkable. My cat is recovering well, actually too well-she almost has more energy than she did before! Hopefully this experience taught her a lesson, I certainly learned something! This place is a drive for me but I would do it again in a heart beat for the life saving care! Hope it is a while until I need to be here, but so glad the people, pets and place exist! I cannot recommend this place enough, high praises!!

Mission literally saved my baby's life. I had to bring her in early for urgent surgery to remove a foreign object she had ingested. I had brought her to BluePearl in Golden Valley (GREAT place as well) the day before, and they referred me to Mission for surgery early the next morning. Mission's staff were super helpful, they got me in right away. They did the surgery that same day. Doctor Ashley and her assistant were super up front about the potential risks and roadblocks they could encounter during the surgery prior to starting it. Once she was out of surgery, Dr. Ashley explained how it went in detail, which made me feel very informed. They provide super affordable urgent care compared to many other ER vets, and even have a payment plan option. Thankfully, they also were very accommodating to work with my pet insurance (PetsBest) and got back to me right away to fill out a form when I emailed them few weeks later for my claim. The office staff were super nice as well. I can't recommend enough. The various staff at Mission were also so accommodating of me (a worry-wart cat mom) post-surgery, as I was calling with lots of questions about recovery and meds, etc. Heartily recommend. They saved my naughty little kitty!

We went to Mission Animal Hospital because our cat Shylah wasn't doing well. She had had a stroke and just wasn't able to carry on with a beneficial life. She seemed to improve over the next 3 days. She began to walk on her own, use the bathroom, eat, and drink, still a bit unsteady, but improving. She then had another stroke. She was unable to do anything for herself. We had to feed her and hold her up to use the bathroom. She couldn't walk. Our hearts were broken, and her quality of life was at its worse. We had to set a date to let her get her wings. The staff was wonderful with us and how her last hours were spent with us. Their care and compassion is unmatched. Thank you so much for all of your kind words and care for our fur baby.

incredibly flexible, friendly and helpful staff. the vets, vet techs and receptionists are all outstanding and take the time with each animal. they explained everything to me and provided resources. it’s very obvious the staff here love animals. affordable, payment plans available.

I absolutely would recommend mission animal hospital for anyone who is looking for emergency or non emergency care. The first time I came here, I did have to wait for a while since my cat Moso was stable and didn’t need urgent care and even though I was stressed about my cat being seeing ASAP, the vets do their best to determine who needs care first. Unfortunately the 2nd time I came here, my cat was experiencing symptoms of heart failure, I rushed him in and the vets took him in right away. Long story short, he got diagnosed with UCM and I’ve been coming here for all the needed check ups. I love how nice they are and how much love they show my Moso baby! I appreciate all the work they do.
