This is the vet you are desperately looking for. The one who will love your dog from the over excited puppy to struggling senior. The one who tries to make time for you even though they are busy because they know you need them when your loved one isn't well and you are stressed beyond reason. I have spent the last couple of years struggling to keep my four senior Siberian Huskies healthy and looked after and its been very mentally, physically, and financially difficult. I checked my credit card statements and I have been to the vet 22 times in the past 12 months alone. I found this office because I had to change vets many times for a variety of reasons, including 8 moves, because a previous one seemed disinterested in geriatric care, and another failed to disclose their requirements / policies before procedures and I felt like they were willing to put my dogs through unnecessary risks. I now drive about an hour and 15 minutes on average one way to have my dogs seen by both Dr. Millers ( Father & Son ). I often have a hard time with car sickness and its still extremely worth it. They put dogs first while still doing their best to be respectful of your financial situation and always try to think through what tests or diagnostics will give them the most information and the owner the best value. One of my dogs ended up with heart enlargement due to presumed genetic predisposition and being on a grain free diet when not being a very phsyically active for several years. They helped me get her on meds to help her heart which helped prevent heart failure onset and allergy medicine to help her frequent hot spots (which one time a flare up brought need for a nealr 10 week intense treatment plan ).They also made me aware our male with frequently urinary tract infections ( he drinks tons of water, I promise ) could take urinary supplements daily and they are totally gone! He also had a fatry tumor and they monitored it because they didn't feel it was a necessary surgery unless it caused him actual discomfort. It ended up growing faster than expected and they did a great job removing it. The dog with the heart condition was very food motivated her entire life but after a 2 days of bad diarrhea this week, she suddenly stopped eating entirely. The younger doctor did only the tests he thought would provide the necessary information to discover the cause and found she had developed a rather large mass on her liver in the last 11 months since her last x-ray; likely being some kind of cancer. It would not have been in her best interest for quality of life to operate given her other conditions and a likely slow and rough recovery. On that last late afternoon appointment, he did try a B12 shot, some other helpful medicine shot, and fluids with hope she might would perk up and eat again to give us just a little more time to spoil and love her before having to say goodbye to our loved one of 12.5 years, but she wanted to let go. She would have suffered a likely painful and miserable decline while we tried to convince her body to let her eat again, and he was very kind and respectful about trying to help us make appropriate decisions at each appointment, phone call, or email. When the third day of refusing food began and the shots and fluids weren't enough to make her want to keep fighting, they worked us in for her euthanasia the same day so she wouldn't continue to be in pain or starve. So very thankful we had Miller's Hospital team through such an incredibly painful and sad experience. It isn't often you find a vet whose entire office from front staff, to vet techs, to the doctors themselves are all entirely caring and passionate about doing the best they can in any scenario and loving every patient for what little time they get to see them. This is a difficult and compassion driven field of work and this office has what it takes to offer the best possible care. Sorry for such a long review, but I know how frustrating it is to see 5 star reviews everywhere only to have a hollow experience. Hope this helps give others confidence.

I've been a client of Dr Miller for over 20 years. He has cared for my 13 dogs over the years. He is always compassionate and caring. He explains my options for plan of care when one of my dogs is not feeling well. His practice does not order unnecessary tests and meds. I am very happy with this veterinary practice!

This was the best vet experience I’ve ever had. Woody was greeted with lots of love! 🐾

We took our sweet golden to Dr. Miller from the day we got her till her final days with Dr. Jack. We unfortunately lost her too early to cancer which leaves you pondering “what ifs”. However, we remain the most confident in our decision to have always brought her here. This team truly became family. They care so deeply and ensure all your needs are met. Words can’t express how grateful I will always be for the kindness they showed our sweet Paisley and us humans. We love this place big time ❤️

We really love Miller Animal Hospital! If you want to take your pet somewhere where you know they’ll receive quality care, Miller Animal Hospital is the place to go. Another veterinary office in the area had about $900 of tests that they wanted to run on our cat before even removing him from the kennel to meet or examine him. Never again. At Miller, not only are the staff friendly and super helpful, but the doctors and techs are extremely knowledgeable. They also charge marginally lower than other vets in the area and will treat your pets with utmost care and respect.
