The staff have been incredibly helpful and adaptable! Courtney especially took extra time to talk through my concerns with my dog's medical condition and help me make a decision that fit my risk tolerance. I've had similar experiences with Dr. Diehr and others at Mill Pond. Thank you, everyone there!

The vets here are wonderful. They seem to listen to owner concerns and not push unnecessary treatments or tests. I trust they have my dogs' best interests in mind because they've show me that over the last 5 years we've used their services for our two dogs. The rooms could use updating and I would like to see them use thermometers with disposable covers... But the staff is great. One of our dogs has chronic issues with Cushing's and kidney disease, and I feel well supported and cared for by the team.

Good vet, doctor does a good job explaining things in a way I can understand. Good staff all around, always get the feeling they care for our pets.

I had been going here for a while. I had a horrible experience with a cat I loved. The nurse who took him back to prepare him for being put down was terrible. She did not explain how he would already be sleeping. I didn’t get to say goodbye to my pet or hold him in his last moments. His tongue was hanging out and looked like he was dead. I was mortified. That picture is burned in my memory. All I got was “oh I’m sorry” when I told the doctor. I have a new cat now. She has had a bad eye infection for months. He gave her drops, that didn’t work so then Prednisone. That didn’t work, so he had me giving her prednisone every other day and said with the feline aids that’s all we can do. I got a second opinion and she put her on Doxycycline. Her eye is clear and no more problems for months now. I will no longer go to Mill pond ever again. I felt as though my cats did not get the care they needed.

I have been going to Mill Pond for years. They have a great staff. My Ruger a German Short Hair Pointer has been there patients for 7 years. We took him in for his 7 year check up and summer worm and tick meds. A week later Ruger was very ill tried to get him in and they where to busy so advised us to take him to the EVH so we did they had Ruger for 3 days and told us he has Leukemia and his spleen was 3x it size. Dr. Diehr. Said he is 6 pound over weight. And he is good. Ruger passed 10 days after his 7 year check up. So my young son couldn't comprehend Ruger his best friend not coming home. So we got another puppy a Bordoodle and ended up getting her from a bad breeder that was in a reliable breeder program on the internet.. she was very sick. Took her to see dr. Diehr. And he was just not a great Dr. That day told us she wouldn't live another day..instead of helping her. And he calls himself a vet. Dr. We took her to the EVH and they kept her for 3 days gave her a blood transfusion and antibiotics for parasite. She had hookworm and coccidia she is doing great. I will never go back to Mill Pond
