Middle Valley Animal Hospital

We were there for a scheduled pre-op with my 14 year old dog. It took TWO HOURS to finally be seen. My dog was a complete mess, shaking all over the entire time. I asked repeatedly at the desk-- I live 10 minutes from the clinic-- whether I could take her home and come back when they were caught up from the "emergency" that caused this delay. They REFUSED. Said they have NO IDEA when we will be seen. We went through with surgery and stitch removal and poor thing was nearly hysterical. She now needs a wellness check and nail clipping. It will freak her out to have to go back. I'm looking elsewhere. The vets are fine. Office staff are truly terrible. This is not a nervous dog. The situation was completely avoidable with a little compassion and flexibility.

This has become our new vet. We are new to the Chattanooga area and tried several vets before choosing this one. We had three dogs and recently had to put down our two older babies. Middle Valley was so sweet and even sent us a handwritten card for our loss. Something I really appreciate here is the honesty. They will not have you continue to bleed money on things that aren't going to help your fur baby. They are in it for your fur babies' best interests and not making money. I truly appreciate that. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic place to take your beloved pet. They are very reasonable with their prices, extremely knowledgeable, caring and will explain everything to you so you can leave your pet in their care with ease. I could not be happier with the veterinarians and techs. I'm so happy I found this place and it is worth the drive every time I go with my dogs. I won't go no where else !

Needed a second opinion from our first vet because she wouldn’t listen to our concerns, decided to take him to middle valley. Brooklyn came in and was very sweet, understanding, and took in everything we had to say. We had an idea that our dog was diabetic and wanted to get blood work done ( a request our first vet did not care to listen to) immediately they took him back and got that done, 15 mins later the results came in. Dr. Barker was amazing, from explaining to what was going on with our dog to getting pricing for different treatments. We will definitely be switching to Middle valley animal hospital!
