I have brought all my Kitties to Metro Cat Clinic. I have taken over 4 dozen kitties from new born to 21 year olds here since the Clinic opened many years ago. All my kitties received expert care. We have had some very tough emergency situations over the years and some kitties with rare diseases. All I feel were treated with compassion for the kitty and I as well as expert medical knowledge/skills. My kitties still go there.

We have pursued a respiratory problem with our cat since he was a few months old. He is 6 1/2 years old now and we had the good fortune to take him to Metro cat Clinic for an evaluation recently. Less than a week later we already see improvement with his issues and feel as if the necessary time was spent in helping us understand his problem. Everyone in the clinic was both friendly and helpful and listened to our concerns. I only wish we had discovered Dr. Montgomery and her staff years ago!

Called to make an appointment to get my cat looked at for a uti, was berated for her not being fixed yet. Took my money somewhere else. Roxanne was rude, everyone else seemed friendly and answered my questions to the best of their ability.

My first visit was an “illness exam” for one of my cats; I live in a small, rural town with no veterinary services, and all the veterinarians in an 80-mile radius are “traditional” dog and cat practices; in my experience my cats’ needs were never fully met in those dog-centric environments, and because of that I often wondered if cats were Truly welcome along with the dogs, or merely tolerated? ! but I wasn’t sure if driving 90 miles one-way was reasonable option; then with one of my cats having asthma, I needed to be sure she was getting cat-centric treatment; now almost a week later with the new treatment my cat seems to be back to normal without a long-acting steroid shot or antibiotics! I feel like the veterinarian was thorough and creative and care-full in a way that the “cat only” practice enabled, and I’m sure that we took a step in the right direction

Metro Cat Clinic is a wonderful place to take your beloved cats. I’ve taken my two cats there for 12 years and they are now 17 years old. I highly recommend this practice. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. I like going to a veterinarian practice that specializes in cats - they know exactly what to look for whether you have a kitten, and adult cat or a senior cat. The staff are professional, friendly, and very understanding. Dr Montgomery is very thorough in her examinations, communicates well about your cat’s health, and is excellent in suggesting procedures or course of medication if needed. You can tell everyone there loves cats and takes a personal approach to you and your cats. I know my precious cats would not still be with me at their advanced age if is wasn’t for the loving care of Dr Montgomery and her staff.
