Meridian Animal Hospital

We have been taking our dog, Bella, to Meridian for 3+ years now and we have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Dobkin and his team! Both Dr. Dobkin and Dr. Brand treat all of their furry patients as they would if they were their own beloved pets. Most recently, Bella went barreling down our back-deck stairs and really hurt her wrist. She was unable to properly put weight on it and therefore was at risk for surgery on the tendons in her wrist. Dr. Dobkin and his team were determined to find another treatment plan so we could avoid an extensive surgery. Dr. Dobkin decided to splint her leg with half a hard cast and wrap the rest in bandage tape. This bandage required weekly changes/re-bandaging. Dr. Dobkin made time for us every Friday morning (on the clinic’s busiest day of the week) to get an examination and bandage change. They did this for two and a half months! Him and his team took such good care of our Bella! As a sweet touch on Bella’s last cast (Valentine’s Day week), the team wrapped her up in red bandage tape and they cut out different colored hearts from the bandage tape and stuck them on her cast. Bella spent two weeks cast free and Dr. Dobkin made time for us to come back in for follow-up examinations. Last week, Bella received good news that she was on the mend and would likely be back to her normal self within two weeks! We were SO excited and thankful! With our frequent visits to the clinic, we got to know Baylie and Jane up at the front desk quite well! They are so kind, thoughtful, and welcoming people! Thank you Dr. Dobkin and the whole Meridian Animal Hospital team for healing our girl!

Such a great experience with Meridian Animal Hospital! I bring two pups here and they are always greeted with smiles and loves. I even have a high anxiety pup who is always comforted and calmed before any examining begins. The staff are all so kind and you can tell they truly love what they do.

We have always had good experiences with each of the techs and vets here, but Dr. Dobkins (sp?) in particular is our favorite. Our dogs have had plenty of vaccinations, dental cleanings, neutering and such with them, and each time things went smoothly. I must say that the time they were most above and beyond for us was when one of our elderly and sick dogs died at home, and they showed tremendous compassion and professionalism with helping us through issues surrounding that. We drive past three or four other veterinary practices to get from our house to Meridian, and for us, it is an easy choice to make the drive.

I've been meaning to write a review for some time because this clinic is amazing from top to tail! We have been taking our pets there for 12+ years and we don't have enough kind things to say about their people and their service. Sadly, we had to put our 18 year old puggle down recently and we are still amazed at how compassionate everyone was and how their care and attention helped us work through such a difficult decision. We have been taking our pets there so many years and have never felt pressured or been upsold on pet care that I had experienced before finding Meridian. This team is honest and you can tell they all enjoy the work they do. They are so responsive and accommodating. They respond so quickly when you call and do everything they can when your pet needs to be seen. We will be forever pet owners and wouldn't take our fur babies anywhere else. If you're reading reviews as research for a pet clinic, look no further. You won't be disappointed! ❤️

Dr Dobkin is the best vet I have ever had. I left Colorado a year and a half ago and have not been able to find a vet in my new home that demonstrates the passion for and dedication to animals that he does. If you are fortunate enough to live in the area and get into see Dr. Dobkin your animals will receive the best care.
