I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about MedVet, and the critical care team is particularly exceptional. They are some of the most brilliant and compassionate people I have ever met. Special thank you to Dr. Collins, Dr. Daly, Kat, Cheryl, and all the other amazing team members who took such wonderful care of Pablo. I could never say thank you enough for saving his life and giving him so much love while he was in your care. Pablo also says thank you for all the great snacks and pets while he was there and getting him back to burrowing under his soft blankets in record time.

Everyone at MedVet Nola was so kind and attentive! It really helped to ease my anxiety knowing my dog was receiving round the clock care from such kind, caring, educated people. From receptionist, to vet tech, to the doctors: they were all so wonderful and provided constant communication about the status of my dog over her week long stay. Coming to MedVet Nola was a breath of fresh air after I had been left feeling let down and unheard by other vets. My questions and concerns were always answered promptly and with empathy and understanding. I felt like everyone I met truly cared about my dog. They saved my baby’s life and I will forever be grateful.

Very calm, patient, and caring team. I felt relieved as soon as I showed up. The vet tech for triage was calm and friendly and soothed my emotions. The vet was positive and informative and presented two plans of treatment with clear up front costs. My cat is now home and nudging me on the cheek and weaving between my feet and purring. I couldn’t have asked for better care.

I have a 1 year old cat that had a nasty wound on his back paw along with issues he already had when I found him. After taking him to our usual vet and trying to get it better it got worse. I came home from work to him barely walking and his joint swollen. I knew that MedVet was open 24 hours so I brought him there and they let me know that it was infected and his foot might have to be amputated within the week. I knew that my usual vet said amputation would most likely be in his future so I was prepared for that. I was willing to do anything for my kitty no matter the cost. However being 24 and living on my own I at least wanted to get an idea at the costs so I asked how much. The vet made me feel terrible for even asking and I quote she said “ you have to be ready to spend at least $5,000. If you have to ask about money you should probably give him to someone else.” This told me all I needed to know about MedVet. I decided to go to a hospital specifically for cats and they have been amazing and I have been able to do everything for him way under$5,000. I still had to pay $400 at MedVet for the exam and antibiotics and they left his foot unwrapped and no pain medication. Please try to avoid this place if you’re a regular person just trying to get help for your pet.
