Great care for the emergency situation of a puncture wound to our dogs chest (from running in the woods). Every single person we worked with was compassionate about ALL our needs and concerns. They were patient as we weighed all the options. They were understanding that it is very expensive to receive this level of care for a pet. They really understood that these are very difficult decisions to make in regards to our pets care. Our dog received the best care possible at Diley Hill, as he was there for 3 days. They communicated everyday, multiple times a day and as often as we wanted. We are so grateful to have the excellent team of doctors and nurses to care for our dog. So happy to have our dear pup home.

My little-buddy (Oliver😺) was having bladder crystal issues and needed medical attention. After calling ahead to confirm they could see him today... I drove from Beaver🦫 to the Diley Hill location... a nearly 150 mile round-trip. The new location is new and well laid-out for its intended purpose. The staff was all very professional but compassionate. While places like these NEVER move as fast as I'd like... the team really took GREAT care of him! Additionally, they kept me informed AND were receptive to my desire to get back on the road ASAP with the significant winter storms. I would ABSOLUTELY return to this MedVet if my Oliver needs care again! Top notch 😻

If I could give them negative stars I would. my dog was 2 yo and very healthy. He had ingested socks. They insisted on surgery and then sent him home but fed him solid food before he was released. more visits at 2 K each he became toxic and died. His bowel and stomach was resected. They gave him oral medicine, after a bowel resection . He was refusing water , foods, and meds. They prescribed medication you can get on Amazon for pain at a much cheaper cost. Traumeel. I am a nurse- we don’t feed humans for 3 days postoperative after bowel surgery . “Dogs are different “ didn’t work for us. I genuinely wish we would have went to OSU. He is the charcoal lab. RIP Joe

On Saturday night I rushed my best friend of nearly 17 years to MedVet after he started having a medical emergency. He died right after we got there. It was unfortunately his time. He was the nicest cat I've ever known. He cuddled above my head purring every night. He loved everybody and just wanted pets. He was my fluffy best boy. Everybody at MedVet was incredibly nice. They gave me a free cardboard coffin to carry him in and didn't charge me anything for the visit. They were all so nice during one of the hardest moments of my life. Their care and generosity made bearing that moment so much easier than it could have been. Thank you. Attached is one of the last pics I took of my big bud

Erin needs to be removed from interacting with clients. She was continuously rude and rolled her eyes when I asked to see a bill break down for an almost $1000 bill. This is the second time I’ve dealt with her and neither have been positive, she is just nasty. The wait was also very long during my recent visit on January 26, 2025, over 3 hours when all my paperwork had printed times of hours earlier. Seemed they felt the longer I was there the more they could justify the bill amount. I will pay the same amount whether I’m there 2 hours or 4 hours, I just want my animal better. My cat had a fecal impaction, which they manually removed within 30 minutes of arrival. Took blood and X-rays within 1 hour of my arrival but still took another 2.5 hours to finally go home. They waited to give fluids and an enema, which both could have been given after the X-ray which was taken at 4:46am. Took another hour for the doctor to come review X-rays, not sure if this was due to a delay from techs letting the doc know the X-ray was done. The wait was excessive from 3:45am -7am, when I was the only patient waiting during that time. Arrived at about 3:45am, fecal impaction removed at about 4:15am, discharge instructions were printed at 4:43am, X-rays taken at 4:46am, blood test printed at 5:18am, doc went over X-rays at 5:56am, did not get to go home until 7am. I don’t mind waiting if you are busy, but every time it is an excessive length for no reason it seems, always 3-4 hours. The front desk receptionist Raegan was exceptional and seemed other staffers were as well, including Dr. Dickey, but Erin Black is horrible and she needs to go. Only came here due to the emergency nature, otherwise would never go. So many issues here. Another time, August/September 2023, they took months to get back test results, which if I would have waited for them my animal would have been dead. They finally refunded my money paid for the results ($300+), but total lack of care or hurry at this location, even after repeated calls for results. Finally management got involved to get me my test results (which were irrelevant by then) and refund my money. Avoid this location/all MedVets and choose another 24/7 for emergency help.
