We had to bring our 16-year-old cat, Maxwell, to MedVet on December 23rd after his health took a sudden and rapid turn for the worse. It became clear that we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go. Honestly, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced—right up there with having to take my mom and dad off life support. But the team at MedVet made an unbearable situation just a little less awful. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly kind and compassionate, offering support in ways they didn’t have to. This wasn’t our first visit to MedVet either. We’d brought Maxwell in after he was attacked by a Rottweiler, and they treated his wounds when another vet didn’t even bother to examine him properly, let alone clean or cover all of his injuries. MedVet stepped in and took care of him when we needed them most. They couldn’t fix this situation or take the pain away, but they made Maxwell’s final moments peaceful and supported us every step of the way. I’m not someone who usually writes reviews, but I felt like I needed to say thank you. I know they can be a bit more expensive, but after everything we’ve been through, I can confidently say they’re worth every penny. They made one of the worst days of my life just a little bit easier, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. Thank you again for helping us say goodbye to Maxwell

After a long night of being worried for my fur baby, MedVet was so compassionate, thoughtful, and quick with making sure that my dog had the correct and urgent care. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and they even answered questions that we had over the phone after our visit. I felt completely safe with bringing my dog there for her emergency and I will come back if their services are needed in the future. Thank you so much for being so kind to my dog 😊

Medvet has been great. Dr. Cervi and his team are amazing! Very informative and responsive. He did my dogs FHO surgery and has been the best throughout it all, he is friendly and very informative. He takes the time out of his day to directly call you with any information from tests that may have been done. Will definitely come to him with my dogs future orthopedic needs! We used the emergency, after hours care. The pre-check in procedure online was very straightforward and simple to complete. Upon arrival, the staff were beyond friendly and the clinic was very clean, spacious and very pet friendly! You weren't sitting on top of other people and their pets. The staff gave us updates on how long it would be until we were seen so that we weren't left waiting. The staff was very sweet with our cat who was having her first vet trip and we felt very comfortable with them taking her in the back! Highly recommend!!

I took our newly adopted one and a half year old dog to MedVet over the Labor Day weekend when we couldn’t get in at any other ER near our home. On the first visit, nothing was found to be a cause, so we left to see if she would start to recover at home. However, after her second night of being seriously ill, I returned with her and she ended up staying for 3 nights. While it was very expensive, cost made sense since was in ICU and in an ER hospital. They took great care of her, accepted my calls with professionalism and compassion and made a traumatic experience bearable. A tech even sent an update and a pic after we had visited to give me some peace of mind so I could sleep knowing she was stable. I’m so happy they saw us when they did because our girl might not be here. Muffin is recovering well and we’re thankful for the MedVet doctors and team.
