I had scheduled this appointment months ago, I received a phone call the day before confirming 10am. The morning of I received an email stating my appointment is at 10:30am I assumed they were running behind, they had to change it, or I misheard the lady. I gave a call around 10:20 saying I might be a few minutes late just to give them a heads up. The lady was rude saying my appointment was at 10 and I am already late. I explained I got an email stating it was at 10:30 and online it says 10:30 as well. Instead of being respectful or understanding (of a mistake on their end), she said no it was at 10 and I have to reschedule. I would have rescheduled had the lady accepted her mistake or was nice about the situation however, that was not the case. I will be going elsewhere.

Welcome to Meadows Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to the local introduction of Meadows Veterinary Clinic, a Pet Hospital located at 314 Meadow Ave, East Peoria, IL 61611, USA. For pet owners in East Peoria seeking veterinary services, understanding the experiences of others can be valuable. Meadows Veterinary Clinic can be contacted at (309) 694-0505 or their mobile number +1 309-694-0505.

Based on the limited customer reviews available online, the experiences with Meadows Veterinary Clinic appear to vary. One review details a negative experience concerning appointment scheduling and customer service. The reviewer had scheduled an appointment months in advance and received a confirmation call for 10:00 AM the day before. However, on the morning of the appointment, they received an email stating the time was 10:30 AM, which was also reflected online. Upon calling around 10:20 AM to inform the clinic that they might be a few minutes late, the reviewer was met with a rude response from a staff member who insisted the appointment was at 10:00 AM and that they were already late. Despite the reviewer explaining the conflicting information received from the clinic, the staff member reportedly did not acknowledge a potential error on their part and insisted on rescheduling. This negative interaction led the reviewer to decide to seek veterinary care elsewhere, highlighting a potential issue with appointment management and customer service at Meadows Veterinary Clinic.

In contrast, another review offers a positive perspective, specifically regarding end-of-life care. The reviewer noted that the clinic was "very caring" during the process of putting their "sweet Tobie to sleep" and described the overall service as "very nice all around." This feedback suggests that Meadows Veterinary Clinic provides compassionate support during the difficult time of saying goodbye to a pet, indicating a caring aspect of their practice.

Given these two contrasting reviews, it is difficult to form a comprehensive picture of the typical environment, services, and features of Meadows Veterinary Clinic. The negative review points to potential challenges in their administrative processes and customer interactions, while the positive review highlights their compassion in sensitive situations like euthanasia.

From the available information, we can infer that Meadows Veterinary Clinic offers services that include routine appointments and end-of-life care (euthanasia). However, the range of other potential services, such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgeries, or diagnostics, is not detailed in these reviews.

Regarding the environment, neither review provides specific details about the clinic's physical space. Aspects like the comfort of the waiting area, the cleanliness of the facilities, or the general atmosphere remain unknown based on this information.

The features of Meadows Veterinary Clinic that can be identified from these reviews are the presence of staff who can be perceived as rude or unaccommodating in certain situations (appointment discrepancies), and a team that is described as "very caring" during euthanasia. This suggests a potential inconsistency in customer service experiences, alongside compassionate care in specific, emotionally sensitive circumstances.

There is no specific promotional information available in these reviews. Local users would need to weigh the reported negative experience with appointment handling against the positive feedback regarding compassionate end-of-life care when considering Meadows Veterinary Clinic.

In conclusion, the online feedback for Meadows Veterinary Clinic presents a mixed view. While they are acknowledged for their caring approach during euthanasia, there is also a report of a negative experience related to appointment scheduling and customer service. Potential local users may want to consider these contrasting perspectives and perhaps seek further information or clarification from the clinic regarding their appointment policies and customer service standards. If end-of-life care is a primary concern, the positive review suggests a compassionate approach in this area.

Paige is always excited to go see "the girls" . So was Halle who saw them for 14 years, from puppy to passing. Staff is always so friendly, caring and professional. With the Covid protocol Paige cries if she has to wait too long in the car for someone to come out and get her. I always recommend.

Dr. Clark, Marcy, and the staff at Meadows Veterinary Clinic are so caring. I had an emergency with my (cat) Ivy. I was very fortunate that the clinic was still open. They told me to bring Ivy in as soon as possible. I arrived, and they put us in a room immediately. Ivy was 10 years and 8 months old. It was time for me to let her go. My heart was shattered, but I didn't want her to suffer. I was with her the whole time. Her passing was very peaceful. I can't say enough about how Ivy and I were treated by everyone there. Meadows Veterinary Clinic is simply the best.
