You can likely expect designated waiting areas, examination rooms equipped for thorough check-ups, and potentially surgical suites and recovery areas depending on the scope of services offered.
Based on the information available, Masterson’s Veterinary Clinic New Lex Branch offers a range of veterinary services. One customer review highlights their ability to promptly address a potential urinary tract infection (UTI) in a dog by requesting a urine specimen for testing. This suggests that they offer diagnostic services, including laboratory work to identify and manage common pet health issues. The review also mentions the possibility of treatment following diagnosis, indicating that the clinic provides medical treatment for various ailments.
However, the same review also raises concerns regarding appointment scheduling and communication. The customer reported difficulties in obtaining immediate treatment for their dog’s UTI due to appointment availability and a policy requiring a recent wellness visit before treatment could be administered. This suggests that while the clinic offers treatment, their scheduling system might sometimes lead to delays in non-emergency situations. It is important for pet owners to be aware of the clinic’s appointment policies and to communicate clearly regarding urgent health concerns.
On a more positive note, another customer review praises the “great and very friendly staff” who were welcoming to the pet, the owner, and their children. This positive feedback highlights the importance of a supportive and approachable team in a veterinary setting. The reviewer also mentioned a quick and efficient visit, along with the staff being “very knowledgeable” and “happy to help,” suggesting a commitment to providing informative and helpful service to pet owners.

Great and very friendly staff to me, my kids and my pets! I enjoyed my visit plus we was in and out. Very knowledgeable to my needs and so happy to help
Sep 18, 2024 · Crystal ReynoldsMy dog was having UTI symptoms started on a Thursday called them immediately. The receptionist told me to bring in a urine specimen the following morning and they would run a test and if she had an infection they would treat her . Took in specimen the following morning was told they couldn’t run the test right away. I informed them that I love 30 minutes away and didn’t want to have to drive back later that day if indeed she needed medication so they ran the test which did show an infection but was told I would have to bring her in for an appointment because it had been over a year since her last visit. I asked why I wasn’t informed of this on the phone when I called the night before . States the people answering phones have no way of knowing that. So I attempt to schedule her an appointment and was told it would be Monday at 6pm before she could me seen. I stated so you want my dog to go almost 5 days with an infection before she is treated. The vet tech said yes we are busy and if she got worse over tut weekend I would have to take her to the emergency room. What a joke! I have taken all of my dogs there for years and have never had that kind of experience. They don’t care about the animals if they did they would have just treated her since they had no openings until the following Monday. So I scheduled for Monday and left. The more I thought about it the more upset I got. I decided to call Feedercreek who agreed that waiting that long to treat a UTI wasn’t a good idea. They were very nice and understanding to the situation the front office staff talked to the doctor and he said to squeeze her in. That is where I will be taking my dogs from now on.

Feb 15, 2025 · Jerry HinkleMy jack russell was attacked by 2 chows. Dr. Mastersons was fantastic with Peanut. All back to normal.
Apr 10, 2024 · Christy MooreMasterson's for many years was only located in Somerset, now they have a new place in New Lexington, which makes it much easier to get our fur babies in for their shots. They bought their experience and caring along with them. Very good people to work with and a plus when it comes to caring also.
