Mason Family Pet Hospital

Have been trusting Mason Family Pet Hospital to care for my animals for almost 10 years. They are so accommodating and always willing to listen to every problem I think we might have. Since I am a helicopter Mom, I can’t tell you how comforting it is to know that I can call, come in or send a text, and my questions and concerns will be addressed quickly and professionally. I like to refer to this pet hospital as an ALL HANDS ON DECK kind of pet hospital.They have a large staff and are incredibly efficient. As large as they are, they have been able to keep that personal attention and I can’t tell you how comforting it is to know that their pets and pet families are their top priority.

I am sincerely fed up with Mason Family Pet Hospital and its new policies. Twice now we have had life or death emergencies and were turned away during working hours. Maybe I am wrong, but I always thought that a Pet Hospital was just that. A hospital that takes care of sick patients, while also providing preventative measures in well checks, apparently, I was wrong. Nowadays you have to predict your animal is going to have an emergency in order to get in same day, especially after their limited amount of sick spots have been filled by 7:15am. There are no priorities for animals that are on deaths door, as we found out it our situation. Unfortunately one of our dogs didn’t make it. We are saddened by the fact that we will never know if they had allowed him to be seen, would he still be with us. The 25+ minutes that it took to get to the Care Center, was just too much time. This place has gone downhill in quality care since Covid. Where is the empathy, care, and concern that was definitely there when Dr Carr was the owner? Corporate greed has definitely taken over this pet hospital.

very kind, thoughtful, and understanding staff. their prices are always very reasonable and they go above and beyond during annual visits. i drive 30 minutes to their location and it’s always worth it. i am certain if my cat had an emergency they would get him seen immediately. chopper says thank you to everyone at mason family pet hospital :))

My little dog was hurting 😢. They got me in the next morning examined him, gave him medication and he is back to himself. Everyone was kind, respectful and looking like the love there job. A very pleasant atmosphere! ☺️

All they care about is money, and they don't care about your pets. My cat vomited and almost passed out while I was taking him to the hospital. I asked them to please postpone my appointment to the next available time, but the lady on the phone only talked about the deposit. "Your deposit will not be refunded," she repeated again and again. She showed no empathy. She simply said, "Just bring them here, the doctor will treat them." It’s not about the deposit; it’s about the way they behaved. Even after I sent evidence of my pet’s condition, they were still only focused on the money. Be careful before taking your pets to this place. If they only care about money, they don’t care about your pets.
