I am so happy to have found Marina Veterinary Center. They have wonderful staff, are very responsive, and have been very helpful in diagnosing and treating my young, orange tabby when issues have arisen. A few months ago I was struggling to figure out what was going on with my young, healthy guy, and they diagnosed and treated him quick and effectively - I am so grateful. I know my kitty is in great hands every time I need to take him to MVC.🧡 Special shout out to John, an assistant vet tech who goes above and beyond for pets and their owners - he is the best!!

Mar 13, 2025 · Claire PeshutI am so severely dissatisfied with this clinic. The only good thing about it is that it’s across the street and prices are not as high as other places. Last Thursday my cat had a urinary blockage and was taking in, they did the procedure and told me that he needs to stay in for 2 days. My cat has attachment anxiety and he is severely stressed if I’m not around. Any explanation of that to the staff - did not make a difference. My cat was locked in that cage from 7pm till 8am next without supervision and food. When I came on Saturday at 8am to feed my cat and just be near him so he is less stressed before they will take the carthrege- guess what - not only they did not allow me to see my cat, neither to feed him. All reasoning that he hadn’t been fed for more than 14 hours were pointless cause this clinic values Bureaucracy over empathy and individual needs of a cat. Saturday front desk lady lacks 100 empathy and I’m surprised that such people works there. Where when I point out that my cat is in distress - they reply “he is fine”. When I said “what if you’ve been locked for 14 hours without food” - the front desk lady lashed out on me saying “how dare you to threaten me” where I never threatened her and was trying to call out to her empathy, imagining how it would feel. But she tried to make me guilty. So I took him back Saturday around 10am and when I brought him back he was severely hungry. But because of sedation that they put - he could not eat food, like his chewing was uncoordinated. So my poor cat only ate maybe at 12pm. Anyway you would think that after that things got better? Ever since that surgery - my cat is in so much pain, urinating. The doctor “seem to follow up” via email with me but she never gave any clear guidance. So communication and setting the expectations of what’s recovery would look like - nothing. Now it’s been a week, and I called them saying that my cat is recovering very slow (I’m suspecting partially because of the stress they caused him by not allowing me to be near him) and one of his meds is out, maybe he needs a refill or something else? My heart’s aches in pain every time he pees, he growls so much. And guess what they reply “oh since you went to emergency yesterday, go see that doctor again. We do t have doctors for the next 24-48 hours”. Like seriously wow. That type of don’t giving a shit about animal made me really really furious. So STAY AWAY from this clinic if your pet needs more than “annual exam”. Pay more - but get the care that your pet needs. And on the picture below you can see “how my cat is fine”. That the picture the lady from front desk Saturday morning when they were not allowing me to see him.

They definitely have patience for my scared pup. It’s comforting to know that I can take my pets to a place where they are very loved.
Mar 25, 2025 · Janine De HaroThe doctors and vet techs here are absolutely wonderful! We switched over from VCA to Marina Vet Center last year and I’m so glad we did. They don’t try to upsell you and are honest with their work. Last year they gave great advice on how my cat can lose some weight and a year later he’s back to a healthy weight. My boy also recently had a dental cleaning here and his teeth look great! They always take great care with him. Highly recommend this vet.

My cats can sometimes be a little wild but John and Claudia always took their time and managed to always get the job done! Thank you guys for always being able to help me out (:
