We have been at this vet for over 2 years, switching when we moved here. We have 2 senior cats, and the service has been disappointing. We have frequent appointments, but we often wait 30+ minutes to be seen. When we do meet with vets or the vet techs, it’s for only a few minutes. The charge for a visit is extremely high, especially when service is so brief. We also learned our primary vet left the practice, but not because the practice notified us. I had an appointment to reschedule, and the receptionist informed me the vet no longer worked there. Why let me schedule online with her? Why not notify her patients? Additionally, before the vet left, we’d often see a rotating crew of vets. I don’t mind that in theory, but it meant care was inconsistent and no one had a clear picture of our pet’s health. One pushed for dental work after we discussed this previously with other doctors and weighed the risks of putting a cat under anesthesia who is elderly and has poor kidney function. I also had to ask at multiple appointments for a liquid medication instead of a pill. I’m not sure why they were all so reluctant in spite of my repeated requests. Last: we lost confidence in the crew when a vet tech (who we really like and trust) pulled me aside and told me not to request or work with a specific new/visiting vet. That’s worrisome. In short: slow service, disappointing communication, inconsistent care, expensive. We are shopping around for a new practice.

Here is Lani at the vet last week. She knows exactly where the treat jar is! The care of her veterinary team is excellent. We have always been happy with this practice.

The first thing my new vet did was sweet talk Ella and sit on the floor with her to ease her nerves. He answered every question, explained everything, and took the time. So thankful for people who care about our hairy babies!

The staff are nice, but frankly, the quality and amount they pay attention to details or concerns of the pet owners has gone down hill over the past 6-7 years. One of our dogs we had to go to another vet and they found a brain tumor after we brought up cognitive concerns many time over the last year. Our other dog had a cracked tooth and I told the vet more than once that I think there is something wrong with his face or teeth or something, and it took multiple vet visits for them to find it.
