Our Boston Terrier pup attends doggy daycare and overnight lodging at Happy Tails. He’s always excited when we drop him off and happy and content when we pick him up. I know he’s getting good exercise and being cared for while he is there. They even provide pictures and a summary of his stay when he is there overnight.

We had an appointment for our dog that we thought was at a certain time. Evidently it was scheduled in their system for 10 minutes earlier than we were told. We got there at the time we thought the appointment was (10 minutes late according to them) and they wouldn’t see our dog unless we paid an extra fee. A simple misunderstand couldn’t be overlooked ONE time. That’s really wild. If they could fit him in for a fee, why couldn’t they fit him in without it? I could understand if it had happened before or if it was a pattern. But it was just one time. What a terrible policy, especially when a pet has an appointment for an issue. Some compassion and empathy would be nice. I hope to find a practice that shows these characteristics because they aren’t found here. Edited in response to the reply from the business: I was not late. The appointment time was incorrect in their system. Because of this misunderstanding (clerical error), seeing my sick dog would have been the human thing to do. Their response is incorrect all around, from what was actually on the document I signed to pretending to care about our dog and his illness. I am only adding this in because I want pet owners to know that you could possibly receive good care from them as long as they never make a clerical error or think you are late for an appointment.

We've been using Limerick Vet for over 25 years. They have cared all of our 4 rescue dogs over the years. They have also handled the last 3 pets last moments and private cremations. Our current rescue has received excellent vet care as have our previous 3 fur baby rescues. We can't recommend the practice enough!!

We had a little scare after finding a lump on the neck of our young cat. Limerick Veterinary Hospital was able to not only find time for us immediately, but they successfully diagnosed and treated our little guy. Thankfully it wasn't anything too serious. I was truly impressed with the friendly staff and how both my cat and myself were treated. Thank you very much. I highly recommend their services.

We take all our “babies” here and they get wonderful care. When in for a neuter or spade doctors call to give you updates and then when home check on them to be sure they are doing well. All the members of the team are great and Doctor Donahue is phenomenal. While cats never are excited to go to the vet but they always get great care, but Phoebe and Big Joe always race to go in to their appointments!
