Mar 26, 2025 · h jHands down amazing vet clinic. Cost efficient considering the county, population, and wages in my experience for what I have got done for my pets. Vets are always very thorough and knowledgeable. I have never had a bad experience here. The receptionist are also well informed and are so kind and inviting. The clinic is set up well to aid any pet that comes in per your situation and their needs. Personally my dog struggles with being comfortable with strangers and other pets, he can be very vocal and anxious, I was worried he’d be regarded as aggressive even though he is not, and is easily redirected and listens well. They took the right steps with making him more comfortable and ignoring his behavior, they knew he was acting from anxiety and mistrust and were knowledgeable of his breed characteristics/nature, and are always able to guide him and myself through the appointment with no issues and have even referred me to trainers. I am very thankful! It is awesome to see aside from medical knowledge they also know about breeds and typical behavior, etc. and I have known not all vets to show this even though it is so helpful!! I’d recommend Leading Edge to anyone.
Aug 11, 2023 · Madalyn GarlichLast week, our 14 week old English Pointer puppy, Hank, woke up with a fever and was extremely lethargic. Needless to say, my husband and I were very worried and immediately jumped to thinking it was Lyme disease. Unfortunately, or regular vet could not squeeze Hank in, as he was in surgeries all morning and already booked back to back. (Severe vet shortage in northern, Wisconsin!) The 3 other clinics they referred us to also could not fit him in. My neighbor recommended that we try Leading Edge, as she was so happy with her vet there. Not only did they get us in on the same day, but they were so compassionate on the phone and in person. Hank's bloodwork ruled out Lyme disease and he was actually diagnosed with growing pains! We left with a course of antibiotics in case it was Lyme that wasn't detectable yet, pain meds/anti-inflammatories, and a hilarious camel hump of saline hydration injected into Hanks back to combat any dehydration. Our little guy was feeling 25% better by the time we got home. Fever was gone that evening and he was like a whole new pup in the morning. Even though Leading Edge is not our regular vet clinic, I would strongly recommend them to anyone due to their kindness, compassion, skill, and efficiency. We are so very appreciative to their staff and docs. THANK YOU!
Jun 10, 2024 · Danielle SpakMy black lab, Raven Rae, was in need of end of life care starting in May of 2023 at the age of 14. While we were traveling in the Southwest for the last 6 months, I had reached out to Leading Edge several times for help in keeping her comfortable and out of pain. Everyone at Leading Edge was so helpful and compassionate and I believe they helped my Raven live an extra year comfortably and as pain-free as possible. Upon our return to Wisconsin in May of 2024, Raven's health took a turn for the worse and I knew it was time and that she needed our help to pass. Dr. Zoet and Jamie graciously came to our aid and my sweet Raven Rae was able to pass away in peace in our SUV where we had traveled together across the country. Their compassion towards Raven and I made all the difference and allowed me to give her the most beautiful death possible. Thank you to Dr. Zoet and Jamie and all of the staff for your loving assistance in Raven's time of need.
